The House of Prayer

Welcome to our guest house where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Four kilometres from the authentic wooden town of Nora in beautiful Bergslagen is the House of Prayer, built in 1901 and originally a mission house. Now a pleasant home with a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall was previously located, as well as two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a cold day, the fireplace in the middle room provides warmth. The garden plot is available for socialising and play. A few hundred metres away there is a swimming area.

Small picturesque cottage centrally located in town. There are two beds, 140 and 90 cm wide. Toilet/shower. Kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker. Bathrobe distance to the public swimming jetty and nice beach promenade. Restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Close to golf course, bathhouse, etc. Close to bus and train station. Small surrounding farm garden shared with the host family. Several different seating areas can be found in the garden. Sheets, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. Hot water and direct-acting electrical elements.

Cozy little house, 10 meters from the lake, 10 minutes outside Nora. Balcony, sauna, private swimming area, jetty and rowboat. Sunsets are best enjoyed in the hammock on the jetty (summer time). The main building is newly built in 2021 with a new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors facing the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Log cabin with lake view

The log cabin is located in the countryside in the village of Löa. The cabin has no electricity or running water, so you cook in the wood stove, fetch water in the pump and use the outhouse, just like it was in the past. If it is too cold to swim in the lake, there is a shower to borrow in another building. Refrigerator to store food in is available. On the farm, you can help feed calves, sheep and chickens and pick eggs for breakfast. Moose and beaver safari with the cottage owner as a guide can be booked. Boat, kayak and raft available to rent.

Dishwasher and washing machine. 200 meters to the center, 50 meters to the promenade at Norasjön and 400 meters to the swimming area, parking in the yard.

Our private swimming area with jetty, rowboat and canoe is at your disposal during the summer months. The house is fully equipped and if anything is missing, we'll fix it. We have bikes for rent if you want to pedal to Nora Anna's café or exercise around the lake. Uskavi is a few hundred meters away with a café, lunch restaurant and mini golf, etc.

Welcome to our cottage for 5 people. Deck overlooking Lake Usken. You will get part of the farm's beach with your own jetty with boat and furnished terrace. The cottage is on our farm with your own secluded garden Uskavi camping a few hundred metres away with café, lunch restaurant and mini golf. Ture the cat lives in the yard, and there are horses in the meadows around. Please leave the cabin in the same condition as when you arrived.

Cozy "Inspektorbostaden" is located on a hill in a beautiful manor garden with beautiful views of Hedströmsdalen. The house has its own patio and its own green area with a large lawn. Perfect location if you want to experience nature and culture in Bergslagen. It is about 5 minutes by car to the child-friendly and popular swimming area Sandviksbadet in Långsvan. In addition, there are several swimming areas and canoe trails nearby.

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.

The property is located about 6 km north of Lindesberg. On the farm there are sheep and horses. Around there are nice walking paths and wonderful nature with mushroom and berry fields. About 3 mil north is Klotens fishing area. Proximity to Bergslagsleden. Bathing areas are within the immediate area. The distance to Stockholm is about 18 mil and to Örebro about 4.5 mil. There is a train station in Lindesberg.
