Full of character and brimming with history, the cottage is situated in the picturesque conservation area of the town - Downalong. Fully renovated and decorated with all modern comforts, 21 the Digey retains its traditional charm.
Nestled on St Ives most iconic cobbled streets, The Digey is less than a minute walk to award winning Porthmeor beach or a minute walk to the harbour and Fore Street.

The space

Perfectly located on The Digey, with the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach less than a minute away in one direction and the harbour, shops and restaurants of Fore Street less than a minute the other.

Built from traditional Cornish granite, the cottage stays cool in summer and warm in winter with central heating throughout. Renovated in 2018, it combines character features such as exposed granite walls and heritage oak details with modern comforts.

Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a comfy leather sofa, Smart TV with Netflix and superfast WiFi. The compact but well-equipped kitchen has plenty of workspace and a dining table when needed. The contemporary shower room also features a luxury walk-in shower and underfloor heating.

Upstairs are two simple, charming bedrooms with wooden floors and window seats overlooking The Digey. (As with many historic cottages, the stairs are a little steep.)

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and Smart TV. The second bedroom has small twin beds, making the cottage ideal for a couple or small family (four adults can fit, but it’s a little cosy).

The Digey is one of the most historic streets in St Ives and is largely car-free. Just moments away you’ll find the harbour, galleries and restaurants, while Porthmeor Beach and the renowned Tate St Ives are just a few steps from the door.
