The tranquil setting is made even more special by the sight of majestic llamas grazing gently in the neighbouring fields, creating a truly unique and relaxing rural escape.

With breathtaking views, complete privacy, and ample off-road parking for two cars, Rose Cottage offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and idyllic country living.

Accessed via a private driveway, Rose Cottage offers ample, safe, private off-road parking for up to two cars. A gently sloping path leads through beautifully maintained shared gardens to your own private south-facing patio and garden, providing a peaceful and secluded space to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Other things to note
For larger gatherings, we also offer Bluebell Cottage, a second beautifully appointed holiday retreat at Pole Rue Farm. Both cottages can be booked together, making them ideal for extended families, couples travelling together, or groups of friends wishing to enjoy a countryside escape while having their own private space.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. If you would like to bring your four-legged companion, please let us know when booking. A supplementary charge of £20 per dog applies.

My husband, Nick, and I live at Pole Rue Farm on the edge of the picturesque village of Combe St Nicholas. We love welcoming guests to our two holiday cottages and sharing the peace and beauty of our little corner of Somerset. When we’re not looking after our guests, you’ll usually find us caring for our friendly llamas, sheep, and chickens, who all help make Pole Rue Farm such a special place to stay.
