Achray Farm is a working smallholding / goat farm and ice-cream maker in the Trossachs. We offer holiday let stays in The Old Farmhouse & The Cake House (sleeps 4).

Old Farmhouse was renovated in 2019 to create bright, spacious accommodation whist retaining original features, along with a wood burning stove and complimented by 300Mbs fibre WiFi & biomass heating.

Our location is the perfect start for walking, cycling & touring the area right from the door and walking distance from the tearoom.

The space
We occupy an idyllic location within the National Park between Callander and Aberfoyle. The farm is on the Great Trossachs Path a 5-minute walk to Loch Achray and a few hundred meters (in the opposite direction) to the Byre Inn and a few minutes more to the Brig o' Turk Tea Room.

Achray Farm is a working smallholding growing our own flavours for summer artisan ice-cream made from our own goats milk, with our micro-dairy and ice-creamery, plus sorbets. Only sold direct, here on the farm.

There is a woodburning stove in the Living room and wonderful views from the dining room.

As well as biomass heating and hot water, we run solar PV for electricity topped up by a renewable energy tariff. The third bedroom can be configured as two single beds or as a "zip and link" Kingsized. Fast (300 Mbs) fibre broadband is available throughout Achray Farm via the unlimited guest Wi-Fi.

In 2020 we launched our ice-cream, from our own goat's milk with seasonal flavours from local forage and fruits. We sell this during the summer from the to walkers and cyclists.

Guest access
There is a fenced garden area with the Old Farmhouse. Achray Farm is a working smallholding and you will see the goats in the field adjacent to your accommodation.

Other things to note
Farm access is 200m of stone track with a hump-back bridge. It is suitable for most cars (we have several low wheelbase visitors) but not large campervans or similar due to weight limits. Full details on confirmation.
