Apple Pippin, newly renovated, offers guests stylish, unique, cosy, dog friendly, clean accommodation which is near the coast as well as being situated in the village so within easy walking distance of our 3 local pubs, a coffee shop, post office, grocery store, pottery, gallery & studios. You have your own private fully enclosed garden with seating & decking as well as private parking for up to 2 vehicles. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, tea, coffee, kitchen essentials & much more are provided.

The space
On arrival your beds will be made up ready for you and you will be provided with two towels per guest. There are additional blankets in your wardrobe and plenty of hanging and drawer space. Your kitchen is equipped with all the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils as well as tea, coffee, fairy liquid, cleaning sundries and cooking essentials. You have an under counter fridge with small deep freeze compartment, a full size gas oven and separate grill with gas hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, cafeteria as well as a filter coffee machine and plenty of cupboard space. The living room has a coal effect electric fire, TV as well as a Robert’s radio, plenty of books, games and local information.

Neighbourhood highlights

Staying in Apple Pippin allows you to walk to the village easily. A quick 3 minute stroll and you are there! Hartland village boasts everything from the three pubs where you can enjoy a drink or a meal, a coffee shop for some beautiful home made cakes and biscuits, a fish and chip shop to a pottery studio where you can have lessons to throw your own pot! For nights in all essentials can be bought at either our Post Office, which also offers freshly baked bread, daily and to order and The Pop In which has all groceries, meat and general supplies. For a treat we even have Mrs Bs baking where you can by hand made and beautifully boxed chocolates. Mr B is an artist who sells his stunning artwork in his studio in the village. A local photographer, Bob captures our stunning coastal area in his photography and these amazing photos are available to buy from his studio in the village. Another local artist, Merlin who creates stunning work has her studio also based in the village and does courses at different times throughout the year. Hartland has many other artisans and many of them showcase their wares at the monthly Farmers Market held in the Parish Hall. Hartland has many events throughout the year from coffee mornings to fates and our annual Carnival so keep an eye out for posters whilst you are here.
