There is private parking for 6 cars, with an EV charge point, a huge decked area and a large, secure garden.
The space

Bar-K is a contemporary and scandi-styled home, a perfect place to relax and unwind with friends and family. The open-plan design lends itself to a social and connected experience, with large dining and living areas perfect for enjoying the company of your loved ones. The house and outside areas are flat and spacious, making it ideal for guests of all ages. An abundance of natural light floods the living areas due to its two large south-facing patio doors.
Whilst adults are kicking back in the hot tub and sauna or alfresco dining on the decked area with barbeque, kids can be entertained by the many activities the house has to offer including playing games such as badminton, football, table tennis and croquet (all provided) in the safe and secure garden, watching movies or gaming in the fully kitted-out cinema room, shooting some pool or table football in the games room or playing board games.
The living room has two large sofas with further seating and a log burner, perfect for those cosy evenings watching a movie on the 55" TV full-loaded with the full SKY package, BT Sport and Netflix. A basket of logs and kindling is provided so the fire will be ready for you to blaze it up and kick back.
The house is also a favourite for four-legged friends, having a large garden to chase down balls, which is completely secure and safe. There are also outside taps to hose down muddy paws and even a dog-friendly shower upon entry into the utility room to clean up your pup after their morning walk. Our favourite local dog walks include Church Town on the River Tamar, Landulph, Cargreen, Kit Hill, Cotehele, Saltram House, Cardinham Woods, Lanhydrock House, Mount Edgcumbe, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, Whitsand Bay and Seaton Beach.
If you're looking for some peace and quiet or just somewhere to catch up on your emails, the snug room is set away at the front of the house and has a decent king-size sofa bed, comfy chair and dedicated workspace with an ethernet port, display, keyboard and mouse.
Guests can enjoy a host of TV entertainment with large TVs and high-quality speakers in the lounge, games room and cinema room. These rooms have access to the full SKY HD experience, including Movies, Sports, Kids' TV and Netflix.
Two of the bedrooms overlook the south-facing garden and have en-suites, and three of the four bedrooms have 6' super king beds and dressing tables. All bedrooms have good storage, Egyptian cotton linen and 40" internet-enabled TVs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, sink, coffee machine, extraction fan, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, Ninja Multi Cooker, Ninja blender, Ninja knives, cutlery, utensils, crockery, cleaning products, pots and pans. A large separate utility room provides extra workspace and storage for food and has a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and shower cubicle which can be immediately accessed from the driveway, perfect for immediately showering after outdoor activities and washing down canine companions.

Bar-K's has 3 x 3ft wide single mattresses that can be moved to any room to suit when extra sleeping arrangements are called for. We can make these mattresses and sofa beds up upon request.
Bar-K is very adaptable when it comes to sleeping arrangements. As well as the four beds in the upstairs bedrooms there is a large sofa bed with a mattress in the snug room, two large (3ft wide) single mattresses that can be used apart or pushed together to make a super king-sized mattress on the floor, a small sofa bed in the cinema room, a small (2ft 6 inches wide) fold-out mobile single bed and a small single chair bed in bedroom one.
We will be very happy to accommodate your specific needs and set up any of the beds to your requirements; however, unless you tell us otherwise:
When 1-8 adults are booked in, we will provide bedding for the four beds in the bedrooms
When 9-10 adults are booked in, we will provide bedding for a king-size sofa bed in the snug room, as well as the four bedrooms
When 11-12 adults are booked in, we will provide bedding for the king-size sofa bed in the snug room and the small sofa bed in the cinema room, as well as the four bedrooms
The zip and link bed in Bedroom 4 will remain set up as a super king rather than the two singles
There may be an additional linen charge if extra beds are requested to be made up that exceed the arrangements listed above. We can advise further on this once we know your requirements.
