Several hundred feet up, nestled in the heart of the quintessential English village of Bonsall, lies our enchanting cottage. Overflowing with character, its ancient walls tell stories through art, antiques and textiles. Perched on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District, this gem sits amidst breathtaking countryside, grand stately homes and key landmarks, including the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Welcome to Bert's!

The space
Bert's is a spacious, four bedroom cottage. It comfortably sleeps eight people, with extra space for one.

Master Bedroom - 'The Morris Room'
We guarantee there is no other bedroom quite like it in Derbyshire! Luxuriate in our breathtaking super king-size, four poster bed, with its custom Vispring mattress. Includes a private, ensuite bathroom with shower.

Bedroom 2 - 'The Clover Room'
This peaceful room has a super comfy king size bed and beautiful double aspect views of 17th century village buildings on one side and the garden and hillside on the other. Wake up to see horses gently grazing in the fields above.

Bedroom 3 - 'The Beam Room'
Whilst restoring the cottage we discovered a beautiful 16th century beam in the wall which now sits proudly above a hotel-quality king size bed.

Bedroom 4 - 'The Attic Room'
This enchanting bedroom, wrapped in floral wallpaper, contains two single beds that can be pushed together, if needs be. Ideal for adults and children alike.
