Beautifully converted from an oak-framed barn, Cairo Lodge Barn has been thoughtfully designed to offer the perfect balance of rustic character and contemporary comfort. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic getaway, spending time with family or simply escaping the pace of everyday life, you’ll find everything you need for a truly relaxing stay.
Set within five acres of enclosed natural meadow overlooking the ancient Blean woodland, the setting is what makes Cairo Lodge Barn so special. Wake each morning to birdsong, enjoy breakfast in your private enclosed garden, wander through the meadow or simply sit back and watch magnificent buzzards soaring effortlessly overhead. Rabbits, butterflies and an abundance of native birdlife are regular visitors, making every season a joy to experience.
Inside you’ll find a bright and spacious open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, two beautifully furnished bedrooms and stylish bathrooms. Every detail has been carefully chosen to create a warm, welcoming home where you can relax after a day exploring Kent.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire barn, private enclosed garden, outdoor seating area, barbecue and private parking.
You’re also welcome to enjoy our five acres of enclosed natural meadow, where you can take a leisurely stroll, admire the surrounding countryside and experience the wonderful wildlife that makes this special corner of Kent unique.
Two excellent village pubs serving food are within walking distance, while Canterbury, Whitstable, Faversham, Herne Bay and the Kent coast are all within easy reach by car.

* Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.
* The private garden is fully enclosed for your enjoyment.
* Guests are welcome to enjoy our five acres of enclosed natural meadow, which is shared with us as owners.
* By prior arrangement, well-behaved dogs may enjoy the meadow off lead at the owner’s discretion. We simply ask that guests respect the wildlife and follow any guidance we provide during their stay.
* The meadow is enclosed with traditional stock fencing, but as with any countryside setting, we recommend supervising dogs at all times.
* We kindly ask guests to respect the tranquillity of the countryside and our neighbouring properties.

I run an IT consultancy company and my wife Clare runs a few online stores. Our primary goal for the holiday let is to not just meet, but exceed your expectations. We live next door and welcome you to visit but also respect your privacy.
