Neighbourhood highlights

Glenstriven house is set in over 500 acres of hillside and with stunning view of the loch Striven. Once you get to the end of the road you have a one mile private driveway that takes you to Glenstriven house. You wlll see red deer, red squirrels, owls, porpoises, buzzard, pinemarten and eagles to name a few! Glenstriven lies in some of the most attractive and accessible wild country in Scotland. It is on the west side of the unspoilt Cowal Peninsula, an area combining lochs, glens, sea, mountains and forests.
Innellan (10 miles) has a general store, post office, and two pubs. The seaside town of Dunoon lies approximately 14 miles on the east side of the Peninsula and provides two ferry links across the Clyde to Gourock. Dunoon offers a range of shops and services, whilst Glasgow has all the shops, facilities and services expected of a major city.

The area provides an excellent base for exploring Argyll. There is spectacular hill walking, climbing and mountaineering and, for the country sportsman, the dramatic Cowal scenery is also host to some of the most exciting deer stalking in Scotland. Numerous lochs and rivers throughout the county provide both salmon and trout fishing and the West Coast is famous for its exciting sailing and varied coastline.

Toward is a popular anchorage for yachts and also has an active small boat sailing club. Nearby golf courses include Dunoon (18 holes) and Innellan (9 holes). Further afield are the renowned courses of Loch Lomond, Troon, Turnberry, Western Gailes, and Prestwick, with a host of other magnificent inland but mainly links courses.

Fun fact: I was an aerobic instructor in the 90s!
We live on a farm in England and rent out our holiday homes on Airbnb. Our apartment in Oslo is a gem and we love coming here for holidays and our newly renovated shooting Lodge in the Scottish highlands is available to rent for large family gatherings! I work in finance in between looking after our family and animals. I love nature, exercise and socialising.
