Just 2 miles from the World Heritage Site Hadrian's Wall, Lower Laurel Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District National Park, Northumberland National Park, North Pennines, Eden Valley, historic Carlisle and much more besides!

The space
A cosy cottage with sweet little steps leading up to the living room and down to the rear bedroom giving it a lovely, characterful feel. Renovated to a high standard, Lower Laurel Cottage combines contemporary furnishings with the authenticity of the old.

A bright, high-ceilinged hallway leads straight through to the back sandstone walled garden where you can enjoy alfresco suppers or a tipple of your choice on summer evenings! The living room is comfy and cosy and the separate kitchen is modern, spacious and welcoming. A turned staircase leads you to the first floor contemporary bathroom with full bath and spacious, separate corner shower (ethical brand, Faith in Nature, shower gels and soaps provided for you) and two adorable cottage bedrooms, the rear having really pretty views up towards The Mote. Thick cottage walls make it lovely and warm in winter and nice and cool in summer.

Guest access
You have complete and sole access to the whole of the cottage including front and rear gardens. Access to the property is via a key safe.
