The space
❤️Marram Cottage provides wonderful accommodation on the sandy dunes of Beadnell Bay.
The Cottage is in an ideal spot in the village of Beadnell with easy access to wide open spaces and long walks on beautiful beaches directly from the Cottage.
Rustling Marram sea grasses, calling seabirds and overwhelming sense of peace; Marram Cottage is the perfect family beach house, or quiet couple’s retreat, nestled adjacent to the Beadnell sand dunes.
Inside the modern & cosy décor ensure calm throughout, while the south facing al fresco patio area leading directly to the beach encourages a life spent outside in the fresh sea air.
Marram Cottage is within the popular sleepy seaside village of Beadnell, but close to the towns of Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster and Alnwick.
Relax in this self-catering home by the sea, created for both slow carefree days and exploring the beautiful county of Northumberland.

All rooms tastefully furnished with new beds and quality mattresses to a restful nights sleep.
Black out blinds in all bedrooms help ensure uninterrupted lie-ins.

OUTSIDE
At the back of Marram Cottage this is a south facing patio sheltered by the dunes, perfect for dining and relaxing. This area catches the sun for most of the day and provides fantastic shelter from the wind.
Enjoy a drink whilst watching the family play in the dunes.
Quality real wood outdoor table and chairs comfortably seats six for all day meals and BBQs.
The real highlight is the gate that leads directly on to the dunes, where a short path leads directly on to the beach.
Set yourself up on the beach here and enjoy the novelty of being able to nip back to Marram Cottage and brew a cuppa or even get a fresh cold drink for the fridge.
At the top of the dunes from the garden you can enjoy a peaceful view over the sweeping Beadnell Bay, Beadnell Harbour & Lime Kilns and Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance.
Other things to note:
There is side by side parking for 3 cars on the private driveway with additional adjacent free parking outside the Cottage.
An EV charger is provided on the drive-. We ask guests to pay only the current unit cost of the electricity used (this will be recorded by the charger and payment request made at the end of your stay via the Air BnB resolution centre).
Guest access
This is a holiday home and provides you with exclusive access to the property.
Stays are per week with change-over on a Saturday during peak times. Shorter stays and non-saturday change-overs are considered during off-peak times.
Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am on Saturdays.

Other things to note
Marram Cottage is well equipped with all the amenities you would expect for comfortable living, including fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer & tumble dryer.
An integrated garage allows storage of beach toys, water sports equipment and bikes.
The Cottage is set on its own quiet, private road. However please note the unmade road leading to Marram Cottage is not suitable for particularly low-slung vehicles.
