Beautiful and walkable

This area is scenic and easy to get around.
Bright and characterful self-contained one-bedroom flat with amazing south-facing views of the hills just 5 mins walk to the centre of Pitlochry. Private entrance. Sit outside and listen to the birds, having your morning coffee! Newly renovated space with contemporary / vintage furniture and a luxury mattress for a peaceful sleep. Access to shed for bike storage and clothes line for wetsuits (there is brilliant wild swimming nearby)! Perfect for couples, solo travellers or small families.

The space
Beautiful oak wooden floors, freshly painted walls, reclaimed 1950s oak units, handmade Mexican tiles and other quirky features make this a very unique place to stay.

100% energy efficient electric heating inside the property and a south facing aspect make for a very cosy stay. In the kitchen/diner/living space, there is smart TV, air fryer and wifi, a microwave, fridge and a 2-ring hob. Space for a travel cot in the main bedroom. Free tea and coffee and fresh flowers for all guests (from the garden where possible!)

The space was completely renovated in 2020.

The host lives upstairs in the main house with her daughter. You will have the back garden to yourself.

There is an outdoor sofa and dining area and a large greenhouse you are welcome to use.

Guest access
You will have your own newly renovated one-bed flat with its own private entrance and all its own amenities, as well as private access to the back garden.

There are 10 small steps down to the entrance of the property (2 sets of 5 steps).

There is a private parking spot for guests in the front driveway, and also great transport links via the train station (10 mins walk) or the bus stop on the main street (7 mins walk)

The property is up a hill, so bear this in mind if you are coming by public transport and have lots of baggage (I can advise on taxi numbers). If you have mobility issues and are coming without a car, you may want to consider other properties because of the hill.

Neighbourhood highlights

The main street in Pitlochry bustles most of the year, but just 5 mins away, where The Paddle Nook is located, it is peaceful and residential. From here, there is a beautiful woodland walk to a pond with swans and ducks. If you want a decent hike, Craigower and Ben Vrackie are easily accessible walking straight from the house. You can hire e-bikes and road and mountain bikes, paddleboards, canoes and fishing boats locally. The famous golf course is a short walk away. There are plenty of coffee shops for tea and cake. A short drive away, there are beautiful spots including Queens View, The Hermitage, Soldiers Leap, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy and also lots of wild swimming spots nearby (Julia runs a local wild swimming group)
