This is a gem of a cottage which has been completely re-furbished in Summer 2025 and is just a stone’s throw from the scenic ‘Blue Flag’ Leven Beach.

Very convenient for visiting Edinburgh, St. Andrews and the East Neuk villages of Fife.

Everything in this cottage is brand new including the well designed, fitted kitchen complete with breakfast bar. The open plan living area has a comfortable sofa which can convert to a second double bed allowing for up to 4 guests in total.

The space
Less than 1 hour on the train directly from Edinburgh, Leven is a fantastic little seaside town with long sandy beaches, sprawling views across the Firth of Forth and boasts a golf Open Championship Qualifying Course; Leven Links.

This cottage is around 150 years old, and has just finished major refurbishment. There is one bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge allowing up to 4 guests at a time. You have private entry and use of the entire cottage during your stay.

There are two large car parks within 100m of the cottage, one of which has EV charge points. We recommend using one of these car parks during your stay.

On entering the cottage you are welcomed to the open plan kitchen, lounge area. The kitchen is fully fitted with full size fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. All crockery, cutlery and cooking pots are supplied as well as a coffee machine, air fryer and toaster.

The lounge area has a comfy corner sofa which also turns into a double bed. This is opposite the 50 inch wall mounted smart TV which has a host of entertainment features including all the favourite apps as well as games. To connect your own devices to the TV there are handy HDMI and power sockets right next to the sofa so you don’t need to attach cables directly to the TV.

Two modern vertical radiators keep this space cosy and operating the heating is easy with the Hive thermostat on the wall above the breakfast bar. Simply turn the nozzle to the temperature you want and push it in to confirm.

The bedroom has a double bed with excellent storage underneath. There are also shelves built into the wall and clothes hanging space behind the door.

The shower room has a heated mirror to prevent it steaming up, a heated towel rail and modern shower with large rainfall head. Shampoo, conditioner and hand wash are all included in refill containers.

Guest access
Guests access the cottage with a pass code entered into the smart lock, once you are in we can change the code to anything you prefer to make access as convenient as possible during your stay.

The entire cottage space is for the private use of the guests during their stay.
