A peaceful garden retreat near the sea in Brighton & Hove. This is a spacious Victorian lower-ground-floor whole flat with a private entrance & garden, with some lovely restored period features. A two-bedroom property, this apartment sleeps 5 guests (king, twin room, and a pull-out single chair-bed in the lounge) and is family-friendly but stylish.

The space
Why You’ll Love It

The property is in a fantastic location, on a tree-lined residential avenue, but perfectly situated within thriving central Hove, surrounded by independent shops, and loads of great cafes and restaurants.

The flat is only 5-10 mins walking distance from the sea and the Hove high street, and less than 15 mins walk from Hove train station. Brighton city centre is also only a 30 minute walk, or buses and rental bikes are easily accessible a couple of minutes away to get there even faster.

The Space:

Our property has a lovely (and rare here!) quiet and private large walled garden with beautiful planting in the Summer and lots of visiting wildlife. It has a table and chairs for exterior dining, and benches to read and relax on.

In a spacious open-plan living space lit by large bi-fold doors, you can enjoy the walled garden from the sofa with a book from our shelf, or use some of our great entertainment features: High-speed fibre WiFi, Smart TV with surround sound and AppleTV for accessing your streaming services, DVD player, DAB+ radio, a children’s toy basket, and board games box. There are also whole-home speakers throughout the flat to stream music to from your phone.

The bright and airy bedroom has a very comfy king-size bed in antique French sandblasted oak, with a lovely dressing table to get ready at, or if you need a quiet space to work you could remove the mirror and use a laptop here. Warm in the Winter with double full-height radiators, and lovely and cool in the Summer due to our position.

There is a second, twin bedroom, with 2 single beds. In the lounge there is a yellow chair that folds out into a single bed to sleep a fifth guest. Please note that we have a highchair and travel cot available if required.

The property boasts a newly refitted tranquil bathroom featuring a double floating sink, large deep bath and waterfall shower, and a fully-fitted kitchen with electric hob/oven, microwave, combined washer/dryer and separate counter-height fridge and freezer.

Strong shower and deep bath, with eco-friendly refillable body wash provided, and foaming handwash.

Clean linen and towels will be provided, as well as a little welcome basket to say hello/thank you!

Please note - as a basement flat, this is not an accessible property - there are stairs down from street level to access it. Please consider this if you have any accessibility/mobility needs.

Other things to note
Parking

We do NOT have a parking space, but the flat is really easily accessible by public transport, and we would recommend that as parking is expensive in all of Brighton/Hove. However there are various parking options:
- A multi-storey car park nearby.
- Paid on-street parking available in surrounding roads.
- Hove also has Car Club private car rental spaces locally.


Other things to note:

- We are a non-smoking/vaping property, and no pets allowed due to building and fire regulations.
- No fires or BBQs allowed in house or garden due to whole building regulations.
