The space
A place to unwind and relax —whether you’re working nearby or holidaying!
Stay Northside is designed to feel easy from the moment you arrive.
For those working locally, it’s a solid, comfortable base during the week. But it’s just as suited to longer stays—families on holiday, school breaks, or anyone wanting to slow down for a few days and properly settle in.
Well suited to weekly stays and longer bookings, with everything set up for comfort beyond just a few nights.
It’s not just somewhere to stay—it’s somewhere you can live for a while.
⸻
Sleep comes easy here
Upstairs is calm, quiet, and made for switching off.
The king-size bedroom looks out over the village green, with crisp 400 thread count bedding and soft lighting that makes slow mornings feel natural. It’s the kind of space you don’t rush out of.
The twin room has a cosier feel, with real wood panelling and its own character. Ideal for children, but equally comfortable for adults staying longer—no compromise on comfort, whatever the reason for your stay.
⸻
A proper reset, every day
The walk-in rainfall shower gives you space to reset properly—whether that’s after work, a long day out, or just a slow morning start.
With thick towels, dressing gowns, and everything ready to go, you can settle into a routine without needing to bring your whole house with you.
⸻
The heart of the cottage
Downstairs is set up for real living, not just passing through.
The beamed ceiling and wood-burning stove create that warm, grounded feel, while the Chesterfield sofa and chairs give you space to properly relax at the end of the day.
There’s room to eat together, work if needed, or just stretch out. Fast Wi-Fi keeps things practical, but the space never feels like you have to be “on.”
This is where evenings naturally happen—whether that’s a quiet night in or a full week of them.
⸻
A kitchen you can actually use
If you’re staying longer, this matters—and it’s been thought through.
You’ll arrive to fresh milk, Yorkshire Tea, coffee, and a few extras to get you started, including homemade shortbread.
Beyond that, everything’s in place for proper use: full fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Whether you’re cooking daily or just dipping in and out, it works like a real home kitchen.
⸻
Space to breathe outside
The cottage sits right on the village green, giving it an open, calm feel that’s hard to find.
There’s a small patio with lavender and seating—ideal for a morning coffee, an evening drink, or just watching the pace of the day.
The Bay Horse pub is directly across the green, making meals out easy without planning. For longer stays, there are also footpaths from the village and a play park nearby to keep things varied.
⸻
Easy from start to finish
Free parking right outside.
Simple key safe check-in.
Arrive when it suits you and settle in straight away.

My work: Plasterer/Renderer
Hello,
I’m Kimberley, Plasterer and renderer, Mum of two children and two Stepchildren; and wife to Gary. We completely renovated this cottage ourselves to make a relaxing, luxurious space to visit.
When I’m not doing the above I love being outside. Gardening, camping, walking, wild swimming and spending time with the family.
