RECENTLY RENOVATED. Swallow cottage is a well equipped cosy cottage with everything you could need for a fabulous holiday. It is set within the Exmoor National park and the moors are literally on your doorstep. It has a dog proof garden and a doggy play barn. The garden has outside table and chairs for you to enjoy the beautiful views over the moorland on one side and the sea on the other. We are not offering manicured lawns and corporate style holiday units but a piece of wild Exmoor

If you love peace and quiet then this is the place to come. Get away from people and city life. There are only three cottages on the farm and they all enjoy complete peacefulness and calm with only the sound of birdsong to listen to and the wonderful sea and moorland views to soak in. GOOD for the soul.
The kitchen is new with solid granite tops and solid oak cupboards. It has everything you need to self cater and if anything is missing you only have to ask.
The living room has two sofas and a small dining table. The beds are super comfy and there are blackout curtains so that you can enjoy a wonderful nights sleep.
The bathroom is new with marble tiles and a power shower set within a bath
Excellent Wifi.
You can open the front door straight out in to the secure garden so that your dogs can go in and out on their own. The garden has a lovely seating area with sea views so that you can enjoy that glass of wine in the evening.
We have a secure DOGGY PLAY BARN with a complimentary one hour free session as a guest. As well as other things this play barn has agility equipment in so that you can have fun with your pooch.
Please note that if your dog chases animals (chickens, horses, sheep) he/she will need to be on a lead around the farm.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the horses, tame chickens and Peppa the pig. We love guests to wander around our small farm and interact with
the animals.
Other things to note
We do not offer a sterile polished environment. If you are a 'clean freak' please do not come here. Whilst our professional cleaners do a fantastic job I cannot promise that the skirting boards have been scrubbed for hours and there may be the odd cobweb or two particularly during the busy season when there is not enough time to do a deep clean between guests. We live in the countryside and cannot guarantee that a naughty spider may not have come through the window. We want you to be able to check out at a reasonable time and check in as early as possible, thereby enhancing your holiday.
We offer a REAL life experience with nature and a bit of wildness. Leave your windows open at night and listen to the wind caressing the moors. Look up to the skies after the incredible sunset and see the million stars you would never see anywhere else in the UK. Take a deep breath and rid yourself of that stress. Appreciate the utter beauty and goodness of nature on Exmoor.
We offer a doggy day care service if you want to go out for the day and leave your pooch in the safe hands of Pauline who is licenced and insured.

We have a Helipad on the farm for those lucky enough to own a helicopter! Great taxi service to the beach and town.
