Our holiday home is a semi-detached rural cottage with 3 bedrooms and open plan living. Sleeps 6 (4 adults, 2 children) and dogs are always welcome. We have one super king bed, two single beds and a shorty cabin bunk - perfect for the little ones.
A beautiful neutral decorated open plan living room and dining room heated by a log fire, perfect for those wintery evenings. Books galore and a gaming cabinet, TV with Netflix and Prime to keep everyone amused. Two leather sofas to kick back and relax after a day of exploring and adventures.
Dining to seat 6 with cocktail glasses and dinnerware and a kitchen fully fitted.
The master bedroom has a super king bed finished off with its impressive headboard and built-in wardrobe along with dressing table.
Upstairs also consists of another bedroom that has two single beds and tranquil décor, with a bathroom that has a bath and walk in shower.
Downstairs is the cute children’s room with built in cabin beds and en-suite, if your bringing any under 2's we can provide a travel cot and high chair.
French doors give open access to the private South facing garden with 6-seater patio area.

There is NO washing machine however two local launderettes are in Alnwick.

Guest access
Access via lockbox located on the front – a unique code sent prior to arrival. Two off road parking spaces are available, one directly outside the front of cottage and one in front of the ‘surf shack’ garage.
Other things to note
Located next to the quaint village of Rock, a 2-minute walk to the famous Rocking Horse Café perfect for a holiday brunch or cuppa and freshly baked cake. With views to the front and rear of rural farmland and side view of the distant coastline.
The beaches are a must – with the golden sands of Embleton Bay or a visit to High Newton beach for windsurfing and sailing or stop off by Low Newton beach to see its curved beauty, completely owned by the National Trust. We are proud to say The Ship Inn and The Joiners Arms are just some of the closest locals or why not try an ice cream at Sarah’s ice cream parlour serving the local Morwick Dairy Ice Cream - all just a short drive.
Close proximity to the A1 with easy access to explore the whole of Northumberland visit Bamburgh, Sea Houses, Farne Islands, Alnwick and its gardens, Craster, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or a trip to one of the many historic castles. Some of the surrounding walks include coastal walks or the National Trust Victorian Country House in Cragside and Hadrian’s Wall.
Nearest train station is Alnmouth with under an hour access to Edinburgh and under half an hour access to Newcastle Upon Tyne.
