Escape into a world of magical make believe set in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Our cosy cabin offers a comfortable, relaxing getaway.
As the name suggests this unique accommodation offers magic in one pot. With nods to a large groundskeeper and a certain magical school.
Situated within beautiful farmland in a peaceful hamlet a couple of miles from the A30, this is an ideal base to enjoy a break in Cornwall with easy access to popular destinations, stunning beaches and famous landmarks.
The space
The cauldron offers themed accommodation. Once through the front door you will find a well equipped kitchenette. Offering cooking facilities in the form of a combination Air fryer, Microwave and oven, there is also an additional portable 2 ring induction hob available.
Fans of Harry Potter will recognise details in the living room which replicate the home of Rubeus. The sofa turns into a sofa bed for additional guests but is small so would suit one adult or two children . We can also supply an airbed and a travel cot on request at time of booking.
Wifi along with a smart TV are available for guests to use. There are also books, games and the complete set of Harry Potter dvds for additional entertainment.
In the bedroom fans will recognise many nods to the films and enjoy their surroundings from a very comfy king size bed. The en suite offers an invigorating shower although the cubicle is quite limited. Why not come and see it for yourselves.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be booked in and paid for when making your reservation.
Guest access
Guests have their own separate parking and entrance to the cabin, offering total privacy and seclusion. You will have your own garden area with seating and a charcoal bbq.
Other things to note
On arrival we provide Milk , please can you let us know when you book whether you are Vegan or dairy intolerant as we don’t want to offend anyone and can then provide some Oat milk instead.
DOGS
We do welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs but they MUST be included in your booking and paid for, failure to do so will result in an additional charge.
As you will appreciate a great number of places do not accept dogs, we do offer this option but expect them to be paid for.

Hi there I’m Lucy and I live here in Trelaske Barton with my husband of 43 years Stewart, he has put up with (and also encouraged me) with my obsession of creating this Harry Potter retreat, I think you can tell I am a fan!
I love to have a ‘project’ on the go particularly since our 4 sons left home. So watch this space! What will be next? We love living in Cornwall and enjoy the pace of life here . Beekeeping is our joint passion
