Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Large plot with lake view common with the host family in a small area with five cabins. Access to beach, 200 meters, and swimming in a secluded location . Distance to the prestigious Medevi Brunn is 4 km.

Newly built apartment building with the absolute best location on the longest lake bath in the Nordic countries and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With promenades, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a bay perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets are allowed. Sheets/towels are included, but can be rented for 100 SEK/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Welcome to our newly built guesthouse located quietly and scenically in the middle of vibrant countryside about 20 km southwest of Linköping and about 15 minutes from the E4. The guesthouse has beds for four and a sofa-bed for two. Kolmården Zoo, Astrid Lindgren's World, Omberg, Gränna/Visingsö are recommended as day trips. Within half an hour you will also get to Gamla Linköping, the Air Force Museum, Göta Canal and Bergs Slussar etc. To the nearest beach it is about 2 km.

Historic house from late 1800's. Original details with a modern brand new kitchen. Fully furnished in an eclectic 80's style. White washed floor planks throughout the whole house. New bathroom with a 5 person Sauna. Walking distance to town. Grocery, pharmacy, liquor store, pub and restaurants within 10 min walk. 500 m to the lake for a morning dip. We, the hosts, live 5min walk from the house. We will be happy to show the house and answer any questions you might have.

350 m to a fantastic sandy beach with crystal clear water and very shallow. Large private plot with free view of a pasture. Proximity to hiking areas and culture such as Medevi brunn, Verner von Heidenstams Övralid. The ancient town of Vadstena and both Göta Kanal and Motala Ström. Wander the Old Motala Workshop area or visit the Motor Museum and Lake Vättern Aquarium in Motala Harbour. If you have time, I recommend a visit to Naturum at Tåkern or a hike on Omberg

Small cottage on the host family's plot. Smaller bedroom with a loft bed 120+80 Small living room with TV and sofa bed 140x200cm. Closet in both rooms. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and micro. The WC and the shower with water heater. Furnished balcony with roof. Only 150 m to the lovely grocery beach with access to swimming in clear water, shallow sand bottom great for families. There are 2 restaurants close by by the water.
