Our wooden house is located on a beautiful, raw natural plot of land all the way out to Lake Mata. The large window section creates panoramic views of the lake, and breaks down the boundaries between indoor and outdoor life. The house accommodates 12 people and has six unique bedrooms, two bathrooms in beautiful raw materials, a kitchen, and a cozy integrated living room. Swimming is possible but bathing shoes are recommended (until we have built a jetty). Otherwise, there is very nice nature nearby that is crossed by the Skåneleden. Within cycling and driving distance is Osby, where there are grocery stores, restaurants and other activities.

Lake view and walking distance to Såganäs Friluftsbas with swimming jetty and canoe rental. 5 km to Diö where the nearest pizzeria and train station are located. Add 2 km and you will find Bykrogen in Liatorp. 7 km south is Älmhult with shops and restaurants and of course IKEA and the IKEA Museum. Fishing is available in Såganäs lake as well as Möckeln and Virestadsjön.

The surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful and the house has all the amenities you could possibly need. In the villa, there are 6 single beds (90), a sofa bed (140) and a double bed (160), dining room, sauna, patio, a nice lake and beautiful surrounding nature. A small paradise, perfect for a large group! NOTE: Pets are (unfortunately) absolutely prohibited!

The lakeside cottage is located in a beautiful cultural landscape, with a short walk of just under a kilometre to Linnés Råshult – a place full of history and scenic charm.
