An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

Our new handcrafted shepherds hut has en-suite facilities and underfloor heating. It has an enclosed patio with seats and a chiminea. We are situated in a very quiet part of Northumberland with excellent walking and cycling from site. The Pennine way is a field away, we have disused railway lines with viaduct and riverside walks. Nearby is the market town of Alston, Penrith and the north lakes, Barnard Castle in Teasdale. Stanhope in Weardale. Hadrian's wall, Hexham, Brampton and Carlisle

Quaint Cottage in the heart of a village

An impressive one bedroomed cottage, situated in the heart of the village of Scotby, with the village shop and local pub literally on the doorstep. The cottage required total renovation and took almost a year to get everything perfect. Today it has all the charm and character of a 150 year cottage but with all the modern conveniences and luxuries. With uninterrupted views over the village green, it is perfect for walking, romantic getaways or simply for those just wanting to relax.

Cosy shepherds hut on Hadrian’s Wall

A basic and cosy shepherds hut a few minutes walk from the Hadrian’s Wall trail, tucked away on a tiny campsite (Camping at Banks), a no vehicles site where you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The hut has a wood burning stove, bottom sheets and pillows. You can hire sleeping bags from us. There is a compost loo and outside sink but no shower or electricity. The hut is suitable for those arriving by foot or bicycle - there is NO PARKING on the site. Single night stays welcome!

The Gincase at Castle Hill , Hayton offers comfortable and attractive accommodation for families of up to 8 people in a peaceful rural setting. This is a grade 2 listed sandstone dwelling characterised by it’s old beams and formerly a farm building dating back to 1830 . Situated in the pretty Cumbrian village of Hayton , near to the small market town of Brampton, it makes an ideal base for exploring North Cumbria .

The Pheasant Hut

Situated on the banks of the River Irthing, and a short walk from Lanercost, this is the perfect stop for walkers exploring Hadrian's Wall Country or for anyone simply wanting to connect with nature and switch off. A self contained 1890s sandstone barn finished to a high standard in a unique space. Guests have the entire place and private access. Situated close to J42 of the M6, a perfect stop off on long journeys or an extended break exploring the North Lakes, Hadrian's wall, the Scottish borders or the historic city of Carlisle.
