Holiday rentals with beach access in Hanalei

The area was absolutely gorgeous. You can watch the sunrise from the lanai which we did every morning. Even in February the house was warm, but we slept with all the windows open and our bedroom door to help with air circulation. The nearby hideaways beach is at the bottom of a steep paved path, but it was an easy walk we did a couple of times. The BBQ is at the bottom of the path so it's not really convenient for grilling and bringing food up to the house but you can eat at the picnictable there. The space felt mostly clean. The beach gear located in the guest closet was not organized and was pretty much thrown in there making it difficult to hang clothes. Also, no hand soaps in the house except one little bar in each bathroom and no supplies in the shower. I always prepare for that so bring your own toiletries and you'll be good to go. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Brooke is an amazing host! She was very responsive, most of the time within minutes, to any questions that we had for her. She even had a neighbor come to help try and diagnose a question for us. The condo was perfect for our family, especially our baby. Brooke had everything set up for us and it was ready to go. The location was just as described and very clean. We will definitely be recommending this condo and look forward to our next visit to Kauai.

We loved our stay! Super cute interior and felt like a hotel. Great location to explore the island and relax. Loved having a washer & dryer available! We appreciated the access to beach chairs/umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Adam and Beata’s home in Princeville! Beautiful location, quiet, and we especially loved their peaceful backyard and hearing all the birdies in the morning. Adam and Beata were communicative and helped make our stay easy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay while you’re taking in all the beauty of Kaua’i!

Great place — location was amazing. The space was quite large like other reviews mentioned, and even had more space than I was expecting. Having laundry in unit was helpful after sandy days at the beach. Only drawback was that we couldn’t lock the place when we left or at night. Host mentioned that the neighborhood was very safe, and it clearly was, but wanted to mention in case that’s important!

Cathy’s place was awesome! Literally the most gorgeous view of the ocean right from your room. Open the glass sliding door and feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves crashing on the shore. You’re only steps to the beach and it’s like a private beach to yourself and the other guest only. You have a full pool and hot tub just steps away with a tiki bar right by it ! Majestic place, 10/10 recommend!

Dicle’s home was the perfect paradise in beautiful Princeville. We couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the house is, the space that we had (both inside and out) and how much we truly felt at home while visiting one of our favorite places to vacation as a family together. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Princeville. The space was perfect for our group of eight — spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen was wonderful and made it easy to cook meals together, and the location was ideal for quick trips to Hanalei Bay and other nearby spots. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay. Laura was a great host — responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from start to finish. The standout feature was definitely the lanai. We started each morning with coffee out there, enjoying the breeze, the sound of birds, and the ever-changing weather — from gentle rain to sudden downpours. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the lush surroundings. The ping pong table was a fun bonus and got plenty of use. This home was the perfect base for our trip and we’d absolutely stay again!

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

What an amazing place! 10min outside of Hanalei so it is quiet and peaceful. We loved going to bed and waking up to the ocean waves!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Natalie’s tastefully decorated house. She has included many thoughtful extras for her guests to make use of. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet, and the location of this Airbnb is quite central to all the things that visitors would want to see on the north shore of Kauai. A big Foodland is very close by, so that was very convenient. Natalie was super helpful and thoughtful! 😀👍

Great place. About a 15-20 minute walk to a couple beaches. You are in a neighborhood so it feels safe to walk around/not many cars. 5-7 minute drive to nearest grocery store and a few restaurants. Very close to Hanalei town - about 30 min to Haena State Park. You definitely need a car while sight seeing around Kauai. The home is large (big enough for 9-10 people) and the kitchen/living area is great for family mornings and evenings. You can see the mountains and waterfalls on a clear day. The lanai on the first and second floor are great in the mornings. All the rooms are spacious and very clean. 3 of the rooms are on the bottom floor (including the 4th room/bunk bed that is in common area). The only room on the first floor is the master. Only issue was that the fridge ice maker did not work and had a little difficulty contacting the 24/7 property manager. Brad was a great communicator and really helps you know the lay of the land. Would definitely stay again.

Our family felt right at home, thanks to Donna! It was comfortable and clean, and really ended up being exactly how she described! We will definitely reach out to Donna next time we're coming to Kauai!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Airbnb! The kitchen and living room are updated, beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen. The views out the sliding door and windows are great! You can see the ocean from the dinning area and the grass and tropical plants are beautiful too. The bedroom carpet could use an update (stained) and the AC was great to have but is loud. Like previous renters have commented, you can hear the neighbors walking upstairs, one night at 3:30am! But overall, it was a great stay for the week and we really appreciated Melissa’s restaurant & hiking recommendations. We loved both Ama and BarAcuda! Also, we made a reservation for Ha’ena State Park 30 days ahead like she suggested which we definitely needed to do to get spots on the shuttle bus to Ke’e beach and the Kalalau trail. Mahalo!🌴

My friends and I really like this place. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, and the view from the room is the ocean But I just forgot to check that this room does not have air conditioning. When I went, it was rainy and hot and humid, but if you open the window, the wind will come into this room, but I closed the window because it might be from the rain, but overall it is good and near Safeway, restaurants, just across the street.

Michael's place was just great. The views off the balcony were so wonderful. Great breeze comes through the area. The beach is just steps away. Pool area was kept spotless. Michael had beach chairs, umbrella, noodles and some snorkel gear. The condo was nicely appointed. Would stay there again.

The perfect home base for a visit to Kauai - a short drive to lots of wonderful restaurants and coffee stands, and also provided easy access to the rest of the island. Everything we needed was provided, and the extra towels were a plus

We had a great stay! It is an excellent place in a great location on the island. The place was exactly as described: clean and welcoming, and the hosts were proactive and responsive. I would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. Everything was close by. The neighborhood is so beautiful and we went on several walks to soak in the beauty. We enjoyed our meals in the lanai as you get to watch the lush landscape and spot so many birds. We loved the fact that it was so close to the Hideaway beach which was so not as crowded as other beaches and was great for snorkeling. Adam was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely return.

David is a great host. Description of the space was exactly what he described. Kitchen is well appointed and the beach amenities were a major plus! Location was great for our needs as we wanted to explore the whole island. Close to shops and grocery. Loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning. 5 stars!
