Enjoy a timeless stay at this inn, surrounded by the garden of the Nanbu family, lords of the Morioka Domain (now the Morioka Chuo Community Centre Garden), and the Nakatsugawa River, an iconic symbol of Morioka that has flowed through the heart of the castle town since the Edo period. Just a one-minute walk away across the street is a strolling garden, which is said to have been known as the 'Oyaku-en' ('Medicinal Garden') because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located immediately in front of it, this house displays a sign reading 'Oyakuenmae' and began offering private accommodation in April 2026. We have renovated this 50-year-old building to create a space that combines the old with the new. We accept reservations for one group per day. The maximum number of people who can stay here is 10 people. It is often used as a base for Tohoku trips by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax in the spacious space. Of course, even one person can stay privately.
