Had a great one night stop at the cabin, taking my partner for a small tour of Norway and this was a perfect location to stop for the night and get straight back on the road the next morning. Cute dogs greet you when you arrive and if you’re lucky they’ll treat you to a little concert in the evening

It was a very great stay we had in the farm house. Sunniva is a wonderful host and spent good time with us to show us the farm. Very calm and nice place and well maintained house. Overall a great experience

This cabin is a real gem nestled in a corner of paradise. Accessible in only 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot, the path to this is perfectly marked. The kitchen, fully equipped, offers all the essentials to prepare delicious dishes or desserts. Comfortable, the cabin also has a TV, wifi, and much more.

We had a fantastic time at Nina's house. It was actually more cozy and spacious than we expected, comfortable and nicely decorated. Really a surprise. The surroundings are magnificent, quiet (the silence is a treat), the view is great. Beautiful walks directly from the house. Also further away, the landscape is overwhelmingly beautiful. In short, highly recommended. We would love to come back sometime. Nina is also a friendly host, helpful and flexible.

We have had a wonderful mini winter holiday in this cozy log cabin! There we had everything we needed. Well-equipped, tidy and clean. With beautiful nature on all sides, mountain forest, rivers and lake. Hens roaming around the yard, cows, cozy play area outside. We had a pleasant and quiet stay here and would love to come again! Highly recommended. Kristin is a helpful and accommodating host.☺️

A small piece of jewelry. We felt totally comfortable when we arrived, which was also due to the fact that a fire was already prepared in the fireplace. It is very cozy and everything you need is there that you need. The view of the fjord is wonderful...there is always something to see and you can take great pictures. For hiking and bathing, you have to drive about 10-15 minutes, but fishing on site by boat is good. We also used the boat to go to the small island of Sild. Otherwise, as always, the communication with Laila was great and we can highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

We had a great time in the cabin! Off-season, the area was practically deserted and we hardly saw other people there. It was a superb "base camp" for day hikes in the area. Besides the obvious (and amazing) Vøringsfossen, the highlight of our trip was summiting the nearby Grytehorga which was surprisingly easy.

Beautiful stay in "Havgløtt" - so quiet and peaceful to be close to the sea. Enchanting steep rocks surround the cabin, and you can feel the history here. I swam every day even though the water was freezing. My dog loved it here, too! She hardly wanted to come inside. The cabin is old-fashioned in a cozy way - this time of year (March) it's good to keep the fire going to stay warm. Christian is a wonderful host, ready to help with any question or request you might have.

Very nice and quite place! In the time that I was there (April), I didn’t see a single person. The place is small and cosy, but it has everything you need. The bed upstairs is a little climb to get into, but if you don’t want that, you can sleep downstairs as well. Private parking. Very clean. I love it!

What a special place tucked in the middle of the island! A great little hike to get into the cabin, and the cabin itself, situated up on a little ledge overlooking the bog and river lands is such a fun place to stay. Very comfortable inside between the fireplace, simple solar setup, deck, and you can tell Knut's recommendations come from a love of the place and area. It was a very nice house. On top of mountain so you will definitely feel peaceful and quiet and really good place if you want to escape the world 😍. The host was very welcoming he wanted to be there when we arrived, he showed us the house and explained everything you need so thank you very much sturla. Everything about this house is good, but the view from the terrace was exceptional and host provided blankets and outdoor heater so you can enjoy it in any weather

Lovely location and cabin!

Loved staying at this typical norwegian cabin. Beautiful area and well equipped with lots of firewood, cooking equipment, blankets, candles and a lot more.

The cabin was beautifully located – surrounded by nature, with fantastic tranquility and real wilderness feeling! Everything was super prepared, clean and cozy. We felt really comfortable and would come back any time. Thanks for a great stay!
