A little garden villa, Koh Lanta

We worked as consulting architects on a luxury hotel project on this island in 2001 under an eight-month contract. We fell in love with the surroundings and chose to stay and make this place our home. We chose this site for its mature trees and waterways. In designing our house, we preserved every tree, letting nature guide the layout so the landscape took priority over the building.
