There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Any bookings for Beach Hop must be a minimum of 3 nights. This beautiful home (bach) at Whangamata Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, is a great place for relaxation. Located in a quiet part of town it is a 5min walk to the local swimming pool and/or golf course and a 10-15min walk to beach and town. The main shopping area with a cinema, cafes, restaurants plus a boating marina is 5 min drive. The spa pool is free but your responsibility to fill, heat and leave it clean: instructions there.
