Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hawaiian Islands

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

We didn’t even mean to book this Airbnb and Jacob was so kind to let us check in the next day instead. Very beautiful, well taken care of home, 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful location, private with beautiful grounds. Loved watching the wildlife in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, had a bit of trouble with the stove, but finally figured it out. Everything looked exactly like the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend, especially as the host was very helpful and responsive.

the home was a great and John was very helpful throughout our stay. The instruments onsite were an added bonus as my kids were able to delicately use some of them (one currently in guitar lessons, another in piano) while I played along with my set of harmonicas. Has a heated outdoor shower which is always nice. Didn't need to bring our own beach towels and there was plenty of beach equipment available including chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. As to be expected of a jungle beach side home there are ants, termites, and critters, but none were ever a problem through our 4 night stay. No AC, but that was never a problem. Fans in all the rooms. View from the upper deck is amazing, and every morning we watched the sunrise before going out to the beaches and such. Food around town can close early so being mindful of that can be important if you want some of the best in Hana if not the whole island (braddah hutts and huli huli chicken for starters). overall, highly recommend staying here!

This lovely home was a wonderful place for our group of friends to have a reunion and relax. We walked to the ocean to enjoy sun rise and sunset every day. We cooked together and enjoyed eating inside or in the outdoor dining area. Great to have both options. We loved being close to snorkeling and our pace of life slowed down to be in present to enjoy each moment with ourselves, each other, beautiful nature and friends. We are grateful to have stayed here.

This is a very pleasant, comfortable house - nicely decorated and very functional. Hawi is a very charming and historic small town, off the beaten track and very peaceful, with a main street within walking distance from the house. We also liked the nicely laid out kitchen and the adjacent laundry room. With three grandkids, two at fifteen years and one at seven, we put everything to good use! Throughout our week in the house, Michael, Charlotte, and Maleigha were exceptionally responsive, friendly hosts. We'd love to visit again.

This is a beautiful location with a very calm and serene pond and Koi fish! It has a wonderful porch with lots of chairs, and the bathrooms are fantastic. You are right next to the ocean and can walk right over to experience the waves and the surf. And there is a gate at the end of the driveway that helps you feel secure. It’s a very nice home and I’m glad we chose it!

Great little studio, perfect for my friend and I. patio was private, parking was accessible, air conditioning was great! Thanks so much for having us, would recommend to others looking for a quaint little spot. Would recommend a rental car to get around to local beaches and tour the north end of island.

The location was perfect! The beach was very close and there were many restaurants and shops just down the street. The inside was immaculate and was the perfect stay for my mom, daughter, and myself. There were so many amenities and items that were useful in the house, such thoughtful hosts. We would definitely stay again when we come back.

My husband and me had a wonderful stay together with our Kids and my parents! The house is of a very high standard – beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beach gear provided was a great bonus. The view of the ocean from the terrace was absolutely stunning. Communication with Ken was always friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back and can highly recommend this place!

This Airbnb was very nice and cozy—just what I needed for a little getaway. It had everything I needed, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A great spot to unwind and recharge. I’d definitely come back!

My grand niece and i had such a wonderful time! Everything was more than we expected. The location couldnt have been better. It was close to all the waterfront of Kona and all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back! Mahalo, for a the great memories!

Pamela’s place exceeded our expectations in the best way. It felt like a hidden gem, and honestly, we tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying it so much! Sadly, it was already booked (no surprise), but Pamela was super communicative and kind throughout, and we totally understood. This place has actually inspired us to build our future home with the same layout! Our check-in situation was a bit unique due to some schedule changes on our end, but Pamela went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made the process seamless, and the directions to get to the “Kula Jewel” were spot on—no guesswork needed. Pamela was kind enough to meet us in person and personally show us how to use the hot tub. Although we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hot tub or pool this time around(amazing ocean and Maui valley views from here too!,) we’re already planning our next staycation and will definitely make the most of them then. This Airbnb is exactly as described! Beautiful, remote and private, but with a local feel. You are out of town enough that there is no service (but wifi is excellent, just make sure to have your GPS on prior to leaving the house). The neighborhood you’re in is filled with friendly locals. You feel safe, the type of safe to leave the door unlocked or have the screen door open to let the natural air in. The host recommendations of what to do on the island is really what made our experience. What is on the list is only things that a true local would know to do- beats any tourist guide you can find. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Greg and Howard were extremely gracious and considerate hosts who gave us amazing recommendations and a tour of the space when we arrived. The venue is a true oasis with ocean views from the outdoor shower / bath house and pool; the outdoor cabana and kitchen were incredible and we used it every night! The location is scenic and about an hour from Hilo airport. We loved how warm and tropical that part of the island was and it was a good place to start and end each day as we traveled to different spots on that side of the island. The unit has a ton of amenities including a cabinet of extra toiletries and a kitchen well stocked with condiments and herbs from previous guests for anything you may need to do basic cooking. The kitchen itself was fully provisioned as well. It was so easy to cook there and was wonderful to have a Keurig and French press for the mornings. The entire property is gorgeous and serene- BOOK IT YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

It's a great place. It's so close to the beach, big enough for a family, and has a full kitchen with sauce and seasoning so we can cook simple food for the kids. They have most beach supplies, like chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys. It helps us save money on rentals.

Darin was very responsive in any questions or requests that I had. Getting to the home was kinda tricky as it is located on a somewhat busy road. The home is also not visible from the road. Overall, once you found the place, Darin’s home is intimate and peaceful. Located just minutes away from shopping centers, grocery stores and Costco.

This place was very cozy and comfortable. Loved the jungle like feel of the property. The location was nice for exploring Hilo side of the island.

Great location, clean, and great communication

We enjoyed our visit at the Big Island. We were welcomed by his family on the first day. Wes was a great communicator; we had everything and more to make our stay comfortable. He provided beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie board and extra bathing & beach towels. We also liked the full range kitchen if we wanted to make breakfast in the morning (we stopped at costco before checking in). Thanks for sharing your home, this was a memorable experience!

Really enjoyed our stay at Ashley’s place! Very central location yet very peaceful and full of beautiful nature. Every activity we booked was 10-15 mins away from the home. It was only four of us so we had more than enough space in this home. Definitely a great home for a big group!
