To change or cancel a reservation, go to your trips page or hosting dashboard.

    I'm a booker. Can I change a reservation I made for someone else?

    Yes. Bookers can change or cancel a reservation for any booking they made. Only the booker can request a change to one of their reservations (not the guests).

    To make a change or cancel a reservation, go to the message thread with the host, and at the top of the message thread choose Change reservation or Cancel reservation.

    For changes

    Click or tap the Next button under Change reservation to start the process and indicate what needs to be changed. You can request to extend or shorten the trip, or add additional guests before check-in.

    Once submitted, the host will need to accept the change request. If the host accepts the request, the reservation will be updated and the original payment method will be charged or refunded if necessary. If the request is declined, or you don’t receive a response, the reservation will stay the same.

    For cancellations

    Click or tap the Next button under Cancel reservation to start the cancellation process. We'll show the refund breakdown before you finalize the cancellation. Your refund will be determined by the host’s cancellation policy and will be refunded to the original payment method.
