How do I set a minimum payout amount?
Setting a minimum payout amount for your payout method is optional. By reducing the amount of payouts you receive, you may be able to cut down on transaction fees charged by your bank or financial service provider.
How it works
When you choose a minimum amount, we'll hold your funds until your total upcoming payouts are above the minimum amount you’ve set. For example, if you set a minimum payout amount of $100, we’ll wait to send your payouts until the total amount is $100 or more.
To set a minimum payout amount:
- Go to Account on airbnb.com
- Select Payout Preferences
- Select Options next to your chosen payment method
- Select Set minimum payout amount
- Enter your chosen minimum payout amount and click Submit
What amount can I choose?
You can set a minimum payout amount between $1 and $50,000 USD (or the equivalent in your currency) for most payout methods. For Western Union, the minimum payout amount must be more than $60 USD and less than $2,000 USD. The default minimum payout amount is already set to $1 USD so that you’ll never get a payout for less than $1.
At this time, we're only able to support setting a minimum amount in USD, but this will not affect your chosen payout currency.
