How do I cancel a reservation request?

As long as your reservation hasn’t been accepted by the host, you can cancel the reservation. You won’t be charged for the reservation or Airbnb service fees.

But, if you cancel after the reservation has been accepted, your reservation will be subject to the terms of the cancellation policy selected by the host.

Show how to check the status of a reservation request.

1. Go to Trips and find the trip you want to cancel
2. Click Show trip details
3. Click Change or cancel

You'll be taken to a new page where you can choose to either change or cancel your reservation.
