It is a truly magical and secluded place with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows -all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall. As a bonus the cottage is only a 10-20min drive from the only Faroese airport, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn.

There is public parking right outside the front door, where you can park up to 8 hours for free.

The apartment has its own entrance and is 56 m2 with one bedroom, one bathroom and kitchen and living room in one. The bedroom has a double bed (140 cm) and a travel cot for small children if wanted. Lovely little cottage in a quiet environment, while still only a 25 min walk to the city center of Tórshavn. Free busses drive to the center and the stop is only a 8 min walk away. There are horses, sheep, geese and hens right outside. P.S. This place does not have a formal address. The location on the photo by google maps is correct, but the name of the address is not. The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Jon's Apartment

Small Studio-apartment located in Miðvágur. The apartment is located in a quiet enviroment, around 300 meter walk to grocery-store, resturant and a gas-station. It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
