The Orchard Hut

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Welcome to our lovely hut on a 16th century farm in Kent. We are off the B2027 near Hever, Bough Beech reservoir and surrounded by beautiful footpaths for walks and local pubs for good food. We have chickens & bees; very friendly! The hut is 50m from the house but very private. We have a log burner & a fire pit/BBQ, we provide logs & fire-starters. There is no cooking in the hut. Beautiful 15th century converted barn separate from main house nestling in rural countryside in Chiddingstone. Close to fabulous country pubs & gorgeous castles. Pub 3 mins walk (check opening hrs). Usually a min of two nights peak season. Early check in/late check out requests will try to be met.

Simple Hoppers Hut Cabin for Two

The Hoppers Hut is inspired by the simple accommodation farmers provided for families of seasonal workers from East London, coming to pick the Hop Harvest, from the mid-19th to the mid-20th centuries. We have an old Oast House at Bore Place, so it's likely we had Hoppers Huts here. Just finished, it's simple, yet comfortable and of this place. Handmade by our own crafts people David & John, fully insulated and clad in planks of locally grown and cut waney edge larch.

Little Bank

Little Bank is a recently converted detached garage, with underfloor heating, private entrance, behind gates and with an en-suite shower room. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Speldhurst with its 13th century inn (The George and Dragon), this room is perfect for those in search of lovely dog walks and beautiful local countryside. Only a 10 minute drive into Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, there is also a superb shop in the village.

Set back from the road behind gates and with a gravel courtyard, this property provides plenty of character.

In the heart of beautiful sussex

The annex is a self contained bright studio of roughly 25 square meter with its private and secure entrance, close to the main house, so we are not far away for help and advice. We are situated in a very beautiful spot of Sussex, next to Ashdown Forest and only 20 minutes from Gatwick. We are only 3 miles away from the center of the charming market town of East Grinstead, unfortunately there is no public transport close to us.
