Private secluded treehouse retreat

20ft up nesting between three sturdy oak trees this treehouse made of recycled timbers and is surrounded by trees and has glimpses of the northdowns AONB Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is wind through the trees and birdsong. Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. There is an induction hob, cool box electric kettle and Bluetooth speaker and a variety of games .

The Cow Shed is a pretty timber clad building with character beams which adjoins our house, Brambles Barn. It's self contained, with private entrance and secure parking. There is a bedroom with king size bed, lounge, kitchen and shower room. There is a pretty garden and pond & the property is approx 2.5 miles from Tenterden and 2.5 miles from Biddenden. Walking distance (under 10 mins) from McCanns Brewery & Taproom, with decking area and beautiful views of the surrounding by Hop Gardens.

We are on the outskirts of Bethersden village which has 2 pubs, village shop/post office and an Artisan Butcher. There is plenty to do in the area villages, vineyards and only 20 miles from the fantastic beach at Camber Sands. Rye and Tenterden are close by and definitely worth a visit. Our one bedroom studio is the perfect retreat for two to relax and unwind.  Just a short walk from the tree lined high street of Tenterden, with it's eclectic mix of independent shops,  historic buildings and small cafes, it is also home to Kent & East Sussex's heritage steam railway. But if relaxing with your favourite glass is more your thing, then it's worth noting, that it is also in the centre of England's wine country, with our local vineyards - from Chapel Down to Gusbourne.

The Cottage is a former Granary beautifully converted into self contained luxury accommodation ideal for overnight, short stays or a full holiday let if required. You are more than welcome to enjoy our large garden and pond! It’s a short walk or you could drive up if you wish, so peaceful!

The barn is in the grounds of our 15th century house but nicely private. It’s decorated in modern rustic style, with underfloor heating and a wood burner. Outside is a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and stargazing before climbing into the king-size bed, dressed with soft Egyptian cotton. There's a walk-in rain shower and robes, books, DVDs, games, WiFi and a Smart TV. Tear yourself away to explore forests, gardens, vineyards, castles, and National Trust houses.
