Welcome to Edelweiss, a beautiful guest cottage in Manchester Vermont. Our idyllic cottage is nestled into the hillside at the base of Mount Equinox. The two story cottage boasts a stunning stone fireplace and large windows overlooking the tiered landscape and Green Mountains in the distance. We are located minutes to Manchester viliage, shopping outlets, Equinox Resort, Hildene, and the Equinox Skyline drive. We are 20 minutes to Bromley and 35 minutes to Stratton and Magic Mountain.

Beautiful timber-frame treehouse

The timber frame treehouse is a perfect couples retreat. The home is custom built with hardwood maple trees cut down and milled right on the property. The deck has a barrel sauna, cold or hot cedar soaking tub, a propane fire pit, a wood burning chiminea fire pit, and a bar top for outdoor dinning. The inside has a stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, tile shower, projector with dvds, books, board games, chandelier, and dimmable lighting for any mood. This home is truly one of a kind.

Waterfront on Lake St. Catherine, with almost 100ft of private lake frontage and a view that's hard to beat. Watch the sunrise from the deck or from inside our new panoramic barrel sauna. Explore the lake by kayak or canoe — both included for guests. Keep an eye out for both bald eagles and loons. There's also a fire pit for evening s'mores — firewood included as well. Great for families — we've got a crib, a bunk room for the kids, and a bookshelf of board games for those rainy days.

Play a game of pool or shuffleboard downstairs. The Birchwood Cabin is in a peaceful, quiet location but is only a 10-minute drive to Manchester, if you'd like to go shopping or grab a bite to eat! Hit the slopes at Bromley Mountain or Stratton Mountain or in the warmer weather head to The Equinox for a round of golf!

The Equinox Cottage

The Equinox Cottage is a quick 3 minute drive to the Equinox Hotel and the heart of Historic Manchester Village. Enjoy the shops, outlets, restaurants, cafes, golfing, and relaxed summer vibe. The Cottage is also an easy walk to the trails in the Equinox Pond preserve. Enjoy this pristine wilderness oasis, plus hiking up Equinox Mountain and surrounding trail system without having to step into your car. This peaceful, spacious, serene spot is ideal for summer relaxation.

Unique Vermont Barn Experience! 1880s restored barn on 2 acres in Manchester Village across from Southern Vermont Arts Center. Converted to a photo studio in 2004 when we moved from NY; spacious, comfortable, solar-powered, approx. 1 mile to Main St. (town roads, no sidewalk), close to shopping, restaurants, golf, hiking, skiing, etc. Beautiful views, Mount Equinox front, the Green Mountains back. In Town Manchester Studio w/ Loft Bedroom.

The Barn, situated behind our house, is located just a few minutes walk to the center of Manchester. It is a studio setting with general living area on the main floor and a bedroom above in a loft. There is hot tub available to barn guest and a shared (with house) outdoor space. Very clean, very fun space with ample room, comfortable bedding. Perfect for two. (Note: Bedroom Loft is only accessible via a spiral staircase).

Carriage House

This renovated carriage house is one block from Main Street in historic Manchester Center and a 5 minute walk to a variety of restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Historic Manchester Village is a 5 minute drive. Bromley is a 10 minute drive and Stratton is a 25 minute drive. Guest privacy is respected by the hosts, who live in the original farm house and can quickly address guest concerns.
