We were looking for a total peaceful break, clear instructions on how to use amenities, hot tub was really clean and really warm so enjoyed hours relaxing in it! Thank you Ainslie ❤️

I'd highly recommend Eleanor's place for those looking for great accomodation in a great location. It went beyond my expectations and she was a great host. It's been added to the list of places i'd return too!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Property was ideally located for quietness. Garden was safe and secure for the dogs. Everything we needed was provided and any queries were answered quickly.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Lovely cottage , lovely garden and location is beautiful . Michaella was very helpful with directions and making our family weekend away very enjoyable and relaxing . We will definately look at rebooking the next time we are in the area

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay in Tayport. Cottage was so central, few mins walk to the harbour, lovely cafe just up the road and nice walks nearby which was great for us and the dog. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Highlight was the garden which has lots of different areas, we were lucky to have good weather and loved sitting out in the sunshine.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

Beautiful relaxing cottage in a very peaceful and convenient part of Scotland. Easy drive from the airport if you have satnav/ GPS. The furnishings and especially the bedding was of top quality, much better than you would expect in a rental unit. Very friendly, knowledgeable welcoming and responsive hosts. Beautiful walk through their farmland from the cottage, Libby came over to welcome us and ensure all was well. She brought two very friendly sheep dogs that work with them on the farm.

This was a perfect quiet getaway with a beautiful view, and nice/convenient kitchen and laundry amenities. Bed had a heating mattress which was nice too. It got a bit cold even with radiators, but maybe we were using them wrong… Google Maps routed us incorrectly and getting there at night it was hard to follow Jill’s given instructions, but the instructions were clear. Overall very happy with the place and its amazing value! Look forward to staying again!

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you're having doubts about whether to rent it, don't hesitate. Everything is wonderful. The location has incredible views. You can breathe in plenty of fresh air and peace. The house is extremely spacious and comfortable, with everything you need so you don't have to leave. If anything were missing, Catherine quickly attends to your needs. As for the host, she makes the experience even more wonderful. She's sweet and kind, always ensuring you have an incredible stay. A lovely person. I would definitely love to come back for a longer stay! 100% recommended!

We stayed over the Christmas period with our daughter who works in the local area. Cottage was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable. The downstairs had underfloor heating and a log fire which we didn't use as the weather was very mild. There is plenty to do in the area and lots of restaurants that are worth visiting however we chose to eat in most days as just wanted to spend family time together. Katie left some goodies for us when we arrived which was much appreciated as we had had an 8 hour trip. All in all we have a lovely time and would highly recommend

Cute place, small but perfect for a few days away. Everything has been cleverly thought of to fit a tiny space. It’s a great location too but you do need to book if you want to eat at the pub as it is very busy!

Excellent stay once again at Croft end, our second time here. Perfect peace and solitude for our 25th wedding anniversary.

Simply put , this is the most beautiful setting one could imagine for a private place to stay in the Highlands . The combination of views , the accommodation, the coziness , the walking , and of course the graciousness of the hosts was just outstanding . Hope it never changes …We will be back for sure !

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Homemade bread on arrival was a nice touch. Read in earlier reviews about deer on the lawn. It's true! Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Fairygreen Cottage was exactly what we needed. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Our boys had so much fun. Alice was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Myself and my husband loved staying at the cottage. It was beautifully decorated, super cozy and very clean. We would recommend anyone coming to Scotland to stay here.

We enjoyed every moment of the stay, what a great way to wake up and watch the squirrels feed and play. The unit is everything we expected.
