High standard, newly renovated studio situated within the finest walking area in the Lake District. The Stable and Undercroft each have a private front door, and internal locking doors through to the shared laundry area and information section off the linking corridor.
“Just come back from a lovely 4 night stay in The Undercroft. Maria is a fantastic host, communication before our trip was outstanding, even phonecall and texts on our journey to warn us of some roadworks that had closed the road outside. The Undercroft was lovely and cosy, and sparkling clean. The bed really comfortable and shower was amazing! There was tea, coffee, sugar and milk to start us off with. Maria came and welcomed us, gave us loads of info of places to eat and walks to go with our dog. A nice added bonus was the little orchard for taking our dog in and a picnic bench to sit on. Maria is very dog friendly, and made our Reggie very welcome. Unfortunately we were unable to use the shared laundry and drying facilities at this time, understandably. But this is also a nice feature and perfect for drying wet clothing after a day's walk. The location makes it great to explore the western lakes and coastline. There are some great places to eat, with The Bridge Inn only 5 min walk, great food and dog friendly. Also The Bower House Inn, which also is lovely food and really dog friendly, offering our dog water and gravy bones. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends. Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom.
“Katie’s cabin was beautiful and in a great location. It overlooks a field with sheep in front and woodland behind so we woke up to beautiful views every morning. It is just a 3 minute drive to Seascale beach and a short distance from the Wastwater hiking trails. Katie left thoughtful gifts on arrival which were lovely touches. The cabin and outside bathroom were both very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat.”
West view is a newly renovated luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a peaceful and tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the log fire lit. It is an ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is also surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too.
“Perfect place to relax and unwind, the beach house provides everything you need and more, and is just perfect to watch the sun set from the large hot tub with the Isle of Man visible on clear days. Ourselves and the dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are going to miss watching the tide come in from our bed.you are only a short drive from the town with shops for your essentials, takeaways and pubs if you need them .”
