Within walking distance of Hokksund town centre. 2 bedrooms (beds 1.60 m and 1.40 m). Very quiet/charming neighbourhood. Parking on the property. Guests must bring their own bed linen/towels, and laundry must be done by the tenants. Dogs and cats are allowed, and there are two cats living outside; allergy sufferers should be aware of this.

Coop Extra convenience store, Vitus pharmacy and bus stop within walking distance. Only 3 km to Hønefoss town centre, with shops, restaurants and a cultural centre. There is also the Kuben centre, which has around 60 shops, including restaurants. Ringkollen and Nordmarka are just a short distance away. At the primary school and the nursery, there are playgrounds with excellent equipment and a new pump track (bike track).

Hiking terrain right outside the door all year, prepared ski slopes a short car ride away in the winter. About an hour drive to Oslo, an hour and a half to Lillehammer. Hadeland Glassverk and Kistefoss a half hour away. Some traffic noise. You choose whether you do the laundry yourself. Otherwise, the final wash costs NOK 800, or if you have pets with you, NOK 1000. Rental of bed linen NOK 100 per person.-

Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived painter Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

The single room has a double bed measuring 180 x 200 cm. The second bedroom has two pull-down beds measuring 80 × 200 cm. These can be pulled out to form double beds, which then measure 160 cm. Duvets, pillows, bedding and towels are provided on site.
