Coop Extra convenience store, Vitus pharmacy and bus stop within walking distance. Only 3 km to Hønefoss town centre, with shops, restaurants and a cultural centre. There is also the Kuben centre, which has around 60 shops, including restaurants. Ringkollen and Nordmarka are just a short distance away. At the primary school and the nursery, there are playgrounds with excellent equipment and a new pump track (bike track).

Experience authentic farming culture in an original charming halling cottage. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and cook on a wood stove if you want. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of space to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby include Nesfjellet alpine, golf, Nystølkroken café, Langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few kilometres by car.

Hadeland Glassverk and Kistefoss a half hour away. Some traffic noise. You choose whether you do the laundry yourself. Otherwise, the final wash costs NOK 800, or if you have pets with you, NOK 1000. Around the property there is a small forest bordering the Tyrifjorden. A newly renovated and cozy older house located in the woods, with a large living room with fireplace, four spacious bedrooms, and plenty of outdoor space. Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived painter Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.
