The Red House on KJv IS the oldest residential house in Horten and was the main house on Horten Gård . The property is located on idyllic Karljohansvern just 150 meters from the beach and the Oslo fjord. It is quiet here , even if the city center is only 1km away. Karljohansvern has a variety of museums and artist studios. It's great to walk straight from the property. In general, a very beautiful area.

Walk down through the garden to the beach for a bath, kayak, play a round of boccia or hike along the coastal path. 10 min bike ride to Holmsbu with country shop, restaurants and shops. Beautiful sunsets all year round! Perfect for a couple or small family.

Rørestrand ligger idyllisk til med utsikt til Bastøya, og kan skilte med en rekke fasiliteter for både store og små. This memorable place is everything but ordinary! Take a trip in the countryside to a cozy and different stay just a 5 min drive from Cirkle K Kopstad/E18. This place is originally used the most when we have guests, it is now renting out on Airbnb as it is a shame it is unused. Kitchen, living room, bathroom and sofa bed (130 cm) sleeps 2 people Live on the farm in the house next door. No smoking!
