The space
We welcome you to La Maison des 4 M, a guest house with character located in the center of Lavelanet. The city is ideally located at the crossroads of 4M: Montségur, Mirepoix, Montbel and Monts d 'Olmes, on the territory of the Cathar Pyrenees, labeled Pays d' Art et d 'Histoire.
We offer spacious and comfortable rooms and a table d 'hôtes (upon booking) based on organic and/or local products. We also invite you to discover our various activities around the Honey (production and direct sale), Music (music events and a music room), wellness (soft mobility, sauna...)
Although located in the city center (shops, restaurants, services), we retain privileged access to unspoiled nature (walks, greenway).

- Honey: we are Frédéric and I both graduated and passionate about beekeeping and will produce with our hives of Honey, Propolis and other products of the rock.

- Music: Frédéric has always played many instruments and we offer themed evenings in our music room open to everyone!

- Soft mobility: we encourage and promote gentle travel (walking, cycling) to discover the natural and tourist sites in the immediate vicinity that surround us (greenway, walks, visits, hikes...). Our sustainable approach also extends to the "local production and consumption" which is at the heart of our activities.

Ariégeoise by adoption for nearly 15 years with my spouse Frédéric and our 3 children, I fell in love with the Pays D 'olmes two years ago. We made the happy choice to come and settle in Lavelanet, in the heart of the Cathar Pyrenees. The quality of life is exceptional thanks to the unspoiled nature that surrounds us and immediate access to many services and activities.

We acquired a beautiful and large mansion, an old mansion dating back to 1882 that belonged at the time to a rich textile manufacturer. It is with great pleasure that we took over the activity of this Maison d 'Hôtes de caractère (formerly "La Maison de Sabine) that we renamed "La Maison des 4 M" in connection with our activities, skills and values (Guest House, Honey, Music, Soft Mobilities).
