The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full employment and have four small children.

The house is located by the forest of about 5 km. distance from Lavik city center.

The apartment is located in the Park in Høyanger city center. The buildings exemplify the English garden towns and are protected today because of their great cultural historical value. There are new furniture and beds of good quality. The apartment has fiber and 55 inch TV with Sono's audio system. Viaplay, Netflix etc. Own iPad with various newspapers like Dagens Næringsliv. Coffee machine. The apartment is 96 sqm on a level and appears spacious with a ceiling height of 2.80 m. Electric charging of car 150 m away.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, elegant space with the best view of Høyanger. 12 minutes walk to Høyanger city center and 3 minutes by car. If you want to enjoy the Norwegian fine nature, then the mountain is just a swim away. Here are a lot of nice trails if you want to go on a trip. The apartment is about 110m2 and contains 2 bathrooms With free WiFi, this apartment provides a flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge. Towels&bed linen are provided in the apartment.

Skogshytte in Sørebødalen

Cabin in the forest of approx. 50m2 with no view from others with two small bedrooms and a large new bathroom. Path of approx. 200 m through the forest to the lake where a boat can be rented. Ideal place for forest meditation or bouldering on large rocks. Only 300 meters from the border of the Sørebødalen nature reserve and a good starting point for hiking. 45 minutes to walk to Almdokkvatnet where boats and fishing nets can be used free of charge for anyone who has bought a fishing licence.

Big Cabin

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.

Cabin in beautiful Måren overlooking the Sognefjord

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. Cozy, restored schoolhouse in a farm yard with views of mountains, water and a valley. Rented out for longer or shorter periods. Possibility of fishing from a boat or canoe in the nearby water. Great hiking terrain with both grazing and wild animals in the area, and opportunities for top hikes only a short drive away. Distinctive log cabin with fjord view

The cabin is peacefully located in a forest area by Sognefjorden. The original log house is upgraded to modern standards, with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The old timber walls provide a special tranquility and atmosphere, and the house is decorated with nice, handmade details. Two terraces with garden furniture and barbecue, parking in the courtyard. Boat can be rented from the host 500m away. Good walking opportunities in the area.

Villa in unique fjord

No roads, no phone signal, just you and pristine Norwegian nature. The villa is located in one of the most spectacular fjords in Norway – Finnafjorden. The fjord is a fjord arm off Sognefjorden, the «King of the Fjords», and is a small, but very private fjord. The seemingly untouched fjord, surrounded by steep mountains and gushing waterfalls hides a very small settlement – Finnabotnen. The perfect setting to experience Norway at her finest.

Cozy little farm house

Lengst inne i en dal, rett før du kommer til seters ligger en liten husklynge. Her er det stille og fredelig og dette er et perfekt utgangspunkt for friluftsliv eller bare lytte til stillheten og studere en stjernehimmel uten lysstøy. Dette er et tradisjonelt norsk gårdshus der stil og stemning er godt bevart. Følger man en skogsvei 1,3 km lenger inn i dalen finnes en badekulp under en liten foss.

The smithy is newly renovated and is located right by the sea with a large veranda and outdoor wood-fired sauna with panoramic glass. Possibility to rent a boat. 6 km from a staffed/self-service grocery store with opening hours 7-23. Many nice hiking opportunities nearby.
