Within three minutes you can walk along a charming path from the house to the city center with it's shops, cafés, library and bakery.

Lige udenfor kører der busser til centrum og en dagligvare butik er 2-3 min. væk. Selv om området er tæt bygget, er der rig mulighed for at nyde naturen. En sti langs området fører dig forbi dammen Myllutjørn, og en å løber langs stien. Andre skønne områder tæt på er bl.a. vandfaldet Svartifossur og Gamle Hoyvík, som er populær til at tage en kold dukkert i.
