Holiday rentals with a kayak in Huahine

Sam and Toriki are wonderful hosts and this is a perfect place to stay for people who like to swim, snorkel or kayak and read or and chill in a perfect and simple place. It’ an unbelievably beautiful location and it’s for those who want to get back to nature. Provisioning in town is easy to do; so is going off the motu to Fare or Avea Bay for a lunch or dinner out if you have a rental car at their mainland pier, which I heartily recommend. It was hot in late December and there’s no AC but you just jump in the water to cool off. There are plenty of clean linens and towels. The bed was comfortable and the showers are great, inside and on the beach. Loved every moment of our stay.

The bungalow is very pleasant , quiet , with great proximity to get to the pretty beach of Fare, we just have to go through the gate! Being located a 5-minute walk from shops and a good restaurant is a plus too. The small family is very welcoming , and the accommodation was as described. It's a great advantage to have bikes , kayaking, and snorkeling gear at your disposal. My stay was very refreshing .

Our stay at the Blue Coral House was truly unforgettable, and as first-time visitors to French Polynesia and the beautiful island of Huahine, it exceeded all of our expectations. This Airbnb is the epitome of what we had dreamed our trip would be. Bar none, it was a fantastic experience! If you’re seeking a relaxing and peaceful retreat in an impeccably furnished home with stunning views of a breathtaking lagoon and the bay beyond (the sunrises were pure magic!), look no further. We spent six wonderful nights in this chic Polynesian gem, and Ellinor, the owner, has truly thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor patio overlooking the lagoon was picture-perfect. We also loved the kayaks, which we used daily for adventures in the bay. Jocelyn, the property manager, was amazing—always ready to answer our questions and make our stay even more enjoyable. We simply cannot recommend the Blue Coral House enough.

Staying with Dominique and Corinne at their beautiful bungalow in Huahine was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, greeted warmly at the boat, we felt like part of their family. Their kindness and hospitality went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The bungalow itself is a perfect retreat—private, with filtered water and all the comforts you could need. The pool was an oasis, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the island. Domy’s food recommendations were spot-on, leading us to what was possibly the best meal of our trip. During our stay, I had a medical issue, and both Dominique and Corinne were incredibly helpful and supportive, showing genuine care and concern. Their thoughtfulness made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. We cannot recommend this stay highly enough. If you’re lucky enough to stay with them, you’ll leave with not only wonderful memories but also a deep appreciation for their warmth and generosity.

We booked based on photos and reviews. Everyone says they wished they booked more time at the plantation house, so we booked 9 days. I don't think it matters how many days you book , you will still wish for more. It's a very rustic and basic cottage. The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. Our host wasn't on the Motu during our time but made sure we were well taken care of by the sweetest lady down the beach named Candy. Such a peaceful , beautiful, relaxing place to vacation. You truly get the most authentic polynesian experience. We will absolutely be returning to this wonderful location.

We had an exceptional stay at Guillaume and Purotu's! The welcome was warm, the communication fluid and the accommodation impeccable. Our stay in Fare was delightful. The upstairs apartment was simple, but very clean and perfect for our needs. The lovely open air kitchen (don’t leave fruit on the counter or the birds will get it!) looks out to the lush green hills, and just a few steps away is the pretty beach with perfect water for just floating in. We loved the location close to town and needed a car which can be rented on sight for only 2 days of our trip as restaurants and grocery are easily walkable. Don’t miss happy hour at the yacht club and be sure to have dinner at Métis. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and we so enjoyed getting to know them and learn more about this special island.

The house was clean, beautiful and matched the description. We even got to see sharks from the terrace!! Simply breathtaking The host is extremely kind! She even invited us to her child’s school show (the performance was really cool). The communication was easy and she was very determined as well: I forgot my watch at the Airbnb and she tried everything in her power to give me my watch back (I was on a different island) suggesting different ways (ferry/plane/mail). At the end she gave it to a friend of hers who brought it to Tahiti!! A very trustworthy host, I would definitely go back.
