This place is a phenomenal find! I hadn't been to Manila in about 15 years but it's a very special area. The community park, Bay views are truly amazing. Katy was the best to talk to including being so helpful to get the heater battery replaced. The space is stylish, comfortable, has everything you need and could ask for and feel right at home. I could move in next week. I can't wait to return a couple times a year to explore more and more of the area. Very quiet, safe and peaceful location. A binder full of local recommendations, cookbooks to make food there, perfect location for both Arcata and Eureka. My birthday trip was excellent due to being able to stay here.

Annie’s place was a nice balance of comfort and class. The inundate houseplants are a beautiful touch. The children appreciated the toys and nooks and crannies for hide-and-seek. This was a perfect spot for our family to gather during a hard time. Plenty of room to be together and to find alone time as well. Thanks Annie.

Amy’s place was as described, quite area across from beach. Awesome view from master bedroom upstairs. Nice to be able to take walks along the water. Backyard is also nice area to relax and enjoy the water. Overall great place to stay would definitely book again.

We love loved staying at Scott's Pelican Roost. The unit was spotless and had a beautiful kitchen that we used to cook most of our meals. We were able to get to both Eureka and Redwood State Park without half an hour, so the locaiton offered good access to both coastal and woodsy hiking. Scott was a very friendly and helpful host, woud definitely recommend!

Can' te expect anything more than a pretty house, a wonderful host who gives you a tour of their garden plants, a beautifully decorated bed room, comfortable bed and a pristine neighborhood. Christine, it was so nice having fresh bread and chatting with you. I had a wonderful experience and hopefully will stay here again!!

I had a great time visiting the family. I had them come stay with me at the house. The house was clean and well kept! Had enough beds for the family to sleep in. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a big family.

It right down the street from the beach and was so beautiful. Soren was quick to respond and very helpful. The back deck area is nice to just sit and enjoy as well as living room area. Everything looked like it’s pictures. Loved staying here!
