The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Sutherland cottage

Sutherland is a two-bedroom cottage with great views of Audrey Wilkinson's vineyard. The cottage is quiet and peaceful, less than two hours drive from Sydney. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. It has one queen and two single beds. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper.. The cottage is only five minutes from the Hunter Valley Gardens, Roche Estate and major wineries. Reduced rates are available for week-long stays.
