Saimaa and Ukonniemi-Rauha sports areas with spas and several golf courses nearby. The main building of the Harjula estate is in the middle of apple trees, in the courtyard of the grain farm. The property has been in the family's possession since 1950, after the end of the grandfather's evacuation trip here. In the lush and spacious courtyard, there is also another residential building where the host lives.

New freezing toilet on the side of the dressing room. No mains water. Gas barbecue. The cottage's floor, kitchen and terrace were renovated in spring 2025. Solar panels were added in 2026.

The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

There are no amenities on the beach; water is carried from Lake Saimaa. The beach is accessible by car. Kid-friendly beach, or shallow sandy bottom. A big private yard, a tram for the kids, and a toddler experience. A nearby school with a skatepark and jumping equipment. Nature and jogging trails nearby! The nearest shops are about 1 km away.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
