I think it is a space where modern people who are tired of stress can rest and recharge by doing what they want, such as sea fishing, walking in Yeongrang Lake, bathing, hiking in Seoraksan, visiting famous temples, and visiting the Unification Observatory. In particular, it is not a professional pension with multiple teams, but a space where only one team stays, so it will be a place where you can rest a little more quietly. It was prepared as an accommodation for families and acquaintances, but we opened the accommodation with the hope that it would be a space for healing by connecting with good people. Like the name of the accommodation (Birch and White), the interior furniture is made of birch wood, which is good for the body, and the walls are treated with clean white. As a convenience facility, it is 3 minutes by car from Ganghyun Hanaro Mart Main Store, 2 minutes from Naksan Branch, and 10 minutes by car from Yangyang City, Sokcho City. You can experience surfing at Yangyang surfing spots such as Mulchi and Seorak Beach. After a trip to the sea, you can relax in a quiet pine forest country house and see the stars that you can't usually see. The bedroom has 3 beds. The kitchen can be used for simple cooking, but please refrain from cooking foods with strong smells, especially shrimp. You can dine at a table for 6 on the backyard deck. This is a separate house for guests in a rural house located in a quiet rural village 15 minutes by car to the sea of Gangneung. Although the building is connected, it is composed of a separate building with a separate entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area where you can experience barbecue with an electric grill (no charcoal/campfire due to the risk of wildfire). If you come with children, you can also try seasonal activities with the owner couple, who are like a rural grandmother and grandfather. The room is not large, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It's narrow for 3 or more adults. We also prepare breakfast with a home-cooked meal like mom's only for those who request it (extra charge). Enjoy the countryside atmosphere and warm hospitality on the way to see the sea of Gangneung.

The accommodation is surrounded by pine forests and sasa trees, so you can enjoy the sea, mountains, and countryside, and it is quiet because it is moderately away from the village. It is 2 km from the accommodation to Namyangyang IC, and 100 m away from the East Coast National Highway No. 7 and the coastal road Haeparang Road, along which you can reach Nammae Port, one of the three major ports in Gangwon Province, and Jukdo, a surfing mecca. Also, the closest beach to the accommodation, Wonpore Beach, is 150 m away. Tourist attractions are easily accessible from the accommodation, with Jumunjin Port 5-10 minutes away by car, Gangneung 25 minutes away, Yangyang 30 minutes away, and Sokcho 40 minutes away. There are also surfing and skin scuba diving nearby where you can enjoy a variety of marine leports. Our host does not reside during your stay so as not to interfere with your personal privacy.
