House with stylish interior at the waterfront

The house is located in Woudsend. It is a luxourious house which is located between similar houses with a private jetty. The jetty is 7 meters long, where you can put your own boat in front of. The garden contains a sheltered tarrace which gives you a bit of privacy when you have your meal outside. The other terrace contains 2 loungers for some relaxing time. When entering the house at the ground floor you start in the hall, near the hall there is a separate toilet. When continuing your walk to the living room there is an open kitchenspace, which makes it comfortable to cook together. The kitchen is fully equipped and can be used as if it is your own kitchen at home. The kitchen has all cooking materials as well as a microwave, oven and dishwasher. The living room contains a fireplace, for the colder days. The living room contains a read and sitting area with a television. Via the hall you can enter also the bedroom with 2 single beds and a little bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 more bedrooms. Two bedrooms contain a double bed and one bedroom contains a single bed. Furthermore there is a second bathroom with 2 sinks, a shower, toilet and a bath. You can bring your own linen or you can rent a linen package including towels -25 euro PP Other facilities are a washing machine, a dryer and you can make use of two bikes. Two kids seats can be attached to the bikes if preferred. ***** One of the great advantages of this house is the fence which can be placed at the waterfront. As I have little grandkids I know the needs of this fence. The fence is placed within minutes and is safe (it is an official approved fence in France). ***** No entry for individuals under the age of 28 years.

Cozy vacation cottage in Woudsend

A lovely, cosy (with complete privacy) holiday cottage in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district. You will be staying with the harbour master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam' corn mill. Come here to unwind with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle. You will find peace and quiet, and you will be woken by the sounds of tits, blackbirds and sparrows (and sometimes, on Sundays, by the church bells). This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Lovely 6-person vacation home in the meadows and on the open water in the heart of the Frisian lakes. Not suitable for groups of young people. Our house is in a unique location, between the meadows and directly on the open water. Here you immediately get the holiday feeling! From the beautiful garden, you have a wide view, you can sit in the sun on one of the two terraces by the water, swim in front of the door and from the private jetty (12m) you can sail onto the Frisian lakes.

Vacation home Friesland Woudsend

Our vacation home is located directly on the water and offers you the opportunity to moor your boat on a 16 m long, private jetty. Due to the south-facing location of the property, the garden is in the sun all day. The new, modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, coffee machine, gas stove, oven and microwave. Dear guests, unfortunately I was forced to increase the prices by 12% for 2026, as the government has increased the VAT from 9% to 21%. I hope you ALL come back anyway.

If you do not come by boat, but want to get on the water, you can rent a sloop or sailboat. Ask the host about the possibilities.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful location with the garden on open water, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!
