Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Inner West Council

We can highly recommend Melinda‘s place as it is a home from home and in a great location. Malinda did everything she could to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. She was very flexible and accommodating, which we much appreciated. The home itself is furnished to a high standard and has many homely features. We particularly enjoyed the garden as it was laid out well for us to sit around the table and chat. Everything worked well and was well thought out. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated as Sydney gets hot and humid in summer. Finally, I have to say something about the location as the Airbnb is in a fantastic spot that has a real village feel to it and is one of the nicest locations I’ve been to in Sydney. Melinda’s home was a lovely space place to spend a week and was very easy getting into town from the train station as it is just around the corner. All in all one of our best ever Airbnb stays.

This was by far the best airbnb experience I’ve had to date. Mamta was an exceptional host from her communication to everything else. She was super accommodating. I used her place to get ready in for my wedding day and she even had a welcome hamper for us to celebrate. The house was absolutely immaculate and even better than the photos!

Harry’s home was a great spot for our family vacation! The home comfortably held our family of 7, including 2 grandparents and 2 kids. We made good use of the fully stocked kitchen to cook breakfast each morning, as well as a few dinners. The home has great indoor & outdoor space, with a small courtyard directly off the kitchen for your morning coffee. Two bedrooms and one full bath are on each of the two floors. The home is a 15 minute walk to the Newtown train station, which will quickly take you into the heart of the city centre.

A great stay for my family with 2 small children. Amazing location, walkable to everything in Balmain, and so easy to access the buses. Parking was pretty good, especially with our Santa Fe, the parking pass Sharon provides is essential! The street itself is very narrow but surrounding streets were very easy to park on. Airbnb was clean, had all amenities we needed, and spacious for inner Sydney. Sharon was very communicative and any potential issues were resolved before we had even checked in. Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Katerina’s terrace home. It was cosy, comfortable and close to everything we needed in the inner west!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and super cozy—exactly like the photos. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful enough to relax. We could walk to great cafes, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring super easy. The host was responsive, and made check-in a breeze. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located getaway!

Stunning, and I mean stunning penthouse and location, perfect for our family weekend away. My husband and I loved the open planing living space on the main floor. This area opened out onto the heated pool and courtyard, with the floor to ceiling sliding windows and stunning views of Sydney harbour and Pots Point across the harbour. There was honestly little reason at all the leave the property throughout our stay. Our children loved the heated pool and the layout of this fabulous penthouse made our family holiday a real treat. Stunning fixture and features though out the entire premises, everything we could have wanted was ready and available. Great host, easy access and just a true privilege to stay here. This Airbnb was the perfect base for our Sydney trip! We loved being just a short walk from the city, with countless amazing cafes and restaurants right on our doorstep. Getting around was incredibly convenient thanks to the abundance of nearby public transport. The apartment itself was comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the partial Sydney Harbour views and the lovely cooling breeze on the balcony. It was also wonderful finding such a great spot that welcomed our dog, who had a brilliant time on the local coastal park walks. A top choice for convenience and city living!

We absolutely loved our stay in this fantastic apartment in a great old mill conversion. A surprisingly peaceful space and street, yet only a few minutes stroll to all the fun on offer in Marrickville and Enmore. Great communication with Luke and we met the lovely cleaner, who offered some great dog friendly ideas for us. Clean, comfy, welcoming space with nice little extra touches. Our pet Lab had a great stay and it's one of the nicest and really pet friendly places we have stayed. The complex has quite a few resident dogs and excellent access to doggie parks and dog friendly cafes. She even went to her first Brewery! Highly recommended Inner West accommodation.

Lovely, spacious apartment on 5th floor of a block of apartments. We were there for 2 weeks in October 2024. Clean lift was always in good order. Swimming pool available, but we didn’t use it. Well stocked kitchen, bathroom and utility room. Balcony with bbq. All as described. Easy to get to CBD and local beaches.

Very comfortable, lovely beds, great shower, kitchen fully equipped and store cupboard ingredients plus a bit more. Loved our stay.

Isabelle's place was an excellent location to stay for us - quiet yet near Randwick centre for food and eating out, close to the trams to get to central Sydney and to buses to get to beaches, yet sufficiently away from it all to be able to escape hustle and bustle when needed - wonderful place to stay and use as a base. Isabelle was also very responsive, and sorted a minor issue we had within the hour - can't say better than that. Also, Isabelle provided us with chairs to sit in the communal garden, and advised of the communal pool - both wonderful on a hot day Would happily recommend to others looking for a base to explore Sydney....be it the city and / or the beaches - and Randwick was a joy to visit

Gorgeous, spacious and comfortable home with outstanding views. Beds were amazing and great water pressure with plenty of hot water. We had 4 couples and we wanted to stay together and cook together most breakfasts and dinners, this home was perfect. We did not rent a car and took Ubers or got picked up for private tours. We used Uber eats to deliver groceries and beer/wine. There are wonderful restaurants a short walk away. Owner was super helpful and made communication easy. Bonus was the birds hanging out in the trees around the house! parrots and a cockatoo! We would definitely stay there again.

Great location! The apartment is close to all the major attractions and public transportation. It made exploring the city so convenient. Also the apartment was clean and clutter free!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little cottage and loved the location adjacent to a park and lots of trees. Two great cafes within very easy walking distance were another bonus. I will be back.

We had a lovely stay with Kathy, the area is beautiful (and although hilly) there's lots of public transport options nearby to get around Sydney. Lots of little cafe's and the main street is also only a 15 minute walk away. The house matched the description, and was very well presented. We had an issue with the front door while staying there, but it was fixed the same day. The one thing that was slightly inconvenient was the height of the shower head in the second bathroom (only being around chest height, and I'm fairly standard height) meant that shower couldn't really be used to wash hair. Luckily the shower in the ensuite was fine, so I just had to coordinate showering time with the people I was staying with. Would definitely stay again if I was back in the area

Anna was a lovely host, very responsive to messages and accommodating. The place was beautiful, clean, and at a very convenient location - pretty much in the city or right at the border and a short trip to the airport. Would recommend.

A very responsive, friendly & professional host. Carlo went above and beyond to ensure we received keys early which was a huge help to us as we vacated our home for a renovation. Any future accommodation needs for us or family & friends we will stay there again.

House was perfect for us as a family of 4 with a baby. Really well stocked and equipped. Great location. Property felt bigger than the photos did justice to. Really good use of space outside also and added bonus of garage parking. Jane and Cleary were very responsive and helpful during our stay. They really want you to feel comfortable and happy whilst you are staying in their place Would definitely recommend this place.
