Relax in the School House, a rural setting 10 minutes from Invercargill city, is peaceful and modern with a touch old school charm. We home an array of farm animals, cows, sheep, and 2 friendly Kune Kune pigs who live their best life in the orchard. You are welcome to make use of our multi sport turf, tennis rackets and outdoor bowling kits are provided🙂 The Flat is attached to our home, the bedroom has a queen bed and the lounge has a double sofa bed. Tea/coffee/continental breakfast provided.

Queens Park, a paradise of cool climate gardens & walkways, is nearby. Bluff is only a 20 minute drive away. 1 1/2 -2 hours drive from Queenstown, Te Anau, Central Otago.

Relax and put your feet up in this peaceful hideaway, down a back section in the heart of Windsor. You're only a five-minute walk from Windsor shopping centre which has a New World supermarket, pharmacy, boutique stores, bank, Pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, with the beautiful Queens Park a ten-minute walk away. The newly revamped city centre is a ten-minute drive away. Please note the guesthouse is beside our garage (which we use).

A few more steps to the Beachhouse restaurant to dine while watching the waves. The chinese takeaway at Taramea Bay for a quick dinner after a day at the beach. Wander our walking tracks and native bush walks close by. A delightful village with little shops to browse, friendly pubs and cafes is the place to be.

This cosy self-contained unit is ideal for anyone who enjoys a quiet walk in the bush or a refreshing estuary walk with both virtually on your doorstep. With only two minutes walk to the hospital this is also an ideal base for visiting friends and family who may be unwell. In its former life the Lodge catered to the needs of high end tourists traveling in Southland The Lodge was purpose built in 2003 by a craftsman builder with the juxtaposition of old and new blending seamlessly.
