In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Castle Loft, Central Wallingford

Wallingford was once home to one of the strongest and most important castles in England. In 1067 William the Conqueror instructed the building of the castle on his way to London to take the throne. In 1502 Henry VIII inherited the castle. On 17 November 1652 Cromwell’s Council of State ordered its demolition, making way for this newly built loft apartment within the castle boundary. Delightful 1 bedroom detached studio with private entrance and onsite parking. Character, spacious open plan living, beautifully furnished, vaulted ceilings and large walk-in shower room. Outside seating area with lovely views over main garden. Ideal for a relaxing break with local walks and renowned country pub less than a 10 min walk. Brightwell Baldwin is a small hamlet close to the market and historic town of Watlington. Henley-on-Thames and Oxford City Centre are a short drive away.

2 x king size organic bedroom-en-suites, with off street parking, great base for work or vacation, my Italian cousin Angelo, calls it " Tuscany in the Chilterns " home to "Midsummer Murders" ,"Wind in the Willows" and Agatha Christie's, "Miss Marple & Poirot mysteries", 200 year old country barn two fields from the Thames, beautiful views, and one of a few areas in the UK where you have hills and valleys and a navigable river wrapping around them, encircled by picturesque riverside towns

A country hideout above our detached oak framed barn. Stylishly furnished in a rustic luxury theme ensuring this retreat ticks all boxes to make your stay comfortable & cosy! Very spacious and an ideal place to come and relax for a romantic countryside break. Fantastic pub just 50m from the doorstep that serves food most days (please check) and there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. Easy access to Oxfordshire best countryside walks too.

"I had a wonderful stay here while doing research at HR Wallingford..very comfortable and welcoming. I will miss the raspberries! Jack E. Southampton" The Lodge offers private, self-catering accommodation for 1-2 in a rural setting away from traffic with lovely views yet it is only a few minutes walk away from the amenities that the historical town of Wallingford has to offer.
